I do not own any of this footage. Copyright infringement not intended. Fiona is my favourite character from AHS. Once again, a flawless performance from Jessica Lange.
I know she's just a character, but is it weird that I want to possess some of her personality traits into my own? I want be that sassy, with witty & bitchy comebacks, that confident & alluring. She hardly lets her emotions get to her, and I wish I had that. Am I the only one who feels that way? Jessica is such an incrediable actress, and Fiona is easily my favorite character ♡
She's in her 70s now and looks amazing in the politician coming out soon. We can only hope age as well as her. She's like a fine wine. Will look good at 90.
I never understood the logic of this statement though... Shouldn't it be "I COULD toast a piece of bread", since it makes no sense that bread wouldn't toast if there indeed was heat present?
Best Jessica scene in season 3 "You're not just blind, you are willfully blind! You married Hank to prove some childish point and brought a viper into this sacred house!" That line stuck with me for some reason. Then Angela "It's all water under the bridge now, mama..." LOL
i also loved when she said "dont make me drop a house on you" altho i another language she says " watch out i dont drop a house on you" which sounds a teeny tiny bit more badass
it's all because of the delivery when she whispers the first line and then angrily shouts the second line... god i still have chills with that scene you do NOT want Fiona as a mother
"Your student threw a knife at me. It missed my head by three inches." "Yeah, she needs to work on her aim." Fucking gonna miss Jessica having a main role in Hotel.
She was replaced by pure disgustingness... I have seen every single season but "Hotel" just because of how bad it is. It is the trashiest season at of them all
I love how she dismisses people and they don't even know it. Fiona don't give a Fuck. lol! She's so smooth and says the meanest things in the softest voice, I love it!
She is proof that the whole bullshit about women not being sexy enough for roles over 40 is a farce. She is in her 60s and literally the sexiest woman on earth. There is just something about her. I fell in love with her during this season. Sassy sexy witch.
"in this whole wide wicked world, the only thing you have to be afraid of is me" literally what my mother says to me everyday. AHS isn't the same without jessica:(
I feel like the countess is supposed to be very young. Don't get me wrong, Jessica looks AMAZING for her age, but gaga was great in the role. I hope Jessica comes back for the next season.
Jessica Lange is so iconic that she not only gave us one consistently amazing performance throughout her time on AHS, she gave FOUR: Constance Langdon, Sister Jude, Fiona Goode, and even Elsa Mars. we really do love to see women succeeding
The tense and electrifying exchange between Fiona and Marie at the hair salon is my favorite scene in the entire series so far. I wonder if the show will ever top that?
I am happy that Jessica Lange returned briefly in Season 8: Apocalypse at least. Her presence was definitely missed. The current season is a little slow to get off the ground.
3:45 This Coven doesn't need a new Supreme... it needs new a rug. LOL ! This Coven needed a part 2 as well... what I mean is that I wanted this series to be longer. AHS Coven felt rushed at times, some characters weren't well developed... even though they had plenty of potential. Now don't get me wrong, I loved AHS Coven, more so than any other AHS seasons. The reason is simple, for me, AHS Coven is basically a better version of the movie "The Craft". Back in my teens, I loved the movie "The Craft", was and still am a huge Fairuza Balk fan.
Jessica Lange is pure magic. I just saw her in the movie "Titus" (from the play by Shakespeare) where she played Tamora, Queen of the Goths--and she was dark, vengeful, and absolutely as wicked as Fiona Goode. I loved her line in this clip, "I'm in charge everywhere..."
That last clip, you can see her horror and fear of her age and mortality so stark on her face. Over anything I think Fiona Good was at her core, absolutely terrified. Terrified of her age, and her oncoming death. She knew what's was going to happen when it all came to an end, she knew exactly how she was going to pay for every single little thing she did wrong after she did the seven wonders and was raised to the throne of the supreme. And she was utterly and gut wrenchingly terrified.
I still watch this video!! I love her confidence and strength!!! I love women like her who KNOWS who they are and to live life they way she wants. lmao!!!
Some more of my favorite moments from Fiona- Cordelia: Where are you going? Fiona: Out. Don't wait up. Cordelia: I have half a mind to enchant the locks after you leave. Fiona: * laughs dryly* Don't make me drop a house on you (after the resurrected Madison and Myrtle show up one after the other) Fiona: Is everyone back from the dead? (not from Fiona, more of a comeback after that scene with the dog insult in the video) Fiona: You know why I got a female attack dog? Hank: Because bitches stick together? (Fiona's first offer getting turned down by the Delphi men) Fiona: Too much? Then here's my other offer. You can all just die. (people start dying, Fiona still sitting comfortably) (in Nan's funeral, who was killed by Fiona and Marie by drowning her in the bathtub) Fiona: And so it is with great sadness we must say goodbye to Nan... who fell in the tub. Marie: Amen.
Jessica Lange is a legend! This is easily the best A.H.S to date! She acts the shit out of that part. True Hollwood royalty!! Jessica Lange was BORN TO PLAY the role of Fiona Goode "She killed the neighbour, but the bitch had it coming." - priceless
I LOVE Coven - Fiona is one of my favourite witches of ALL TIME and that is really saying something. The whole show was incredibly well written and just brilliant. Can't say enough good things about it.
+Ali Murray I pretty much agree though I feel it kinda got lost towards the end. I was hoping we'd see a battle against the witches and voodoo practitioners
Ben Simon The police man hands Maggie (Emma Roberts) a cup of coffee with a top hat on it. Also you can see the same top hat in the first two episodes of season 4. :)
Every since I was 8 years old and saw tootsie for the first time, my biggest dream in the world was to meet Jessica Lange. She has been in my life and as my hero for 8 years and counting. I will continue to love her kind sweet nature and amazing voice till the day I die and I am only 16 years old! So, keep them coming Jessica Lange , your amazing and I love you:-) from your BIGGEST Fan Emma Sherwood
Wish they'd quit giving Kathy Bates derpy roles. Even with her shitty roles, she makes them perfect because it's her caliber, but give her a better one ffs
Her "shitty role" in Coven made her win an Emmy. While I do agree that Kathy deserves different kind of roles that she gets in AHS, she had a lot of screentime in AHS and her acting skills could be seen in every one of them. I don't think the roles she had in AHS are shitty, with the exception of Ethel in Freakshow, but I don't think that is a shitty role but it's the least impressive of all from the show.
she left at the right time..she probably knew the show was slowly going down..coven was the shows prime season with the variety of best actors..now all the originals left and they only have Kathy bates and Angela Bassett to save the remaining seasons(if they choose to come back)but the writers won't put them as the main storyline characters which doesn't makes sense..they have amateur actors doing all the acting while the actual experienced actors being supporting cast members..and that's the downfall
Maybe in another century you could have TWO shithole salons! lol, i swear after watching every season I start wishing I had some of jessica lange's spunk and sass.
