I was having a very low moment now. It lasted too long, up until this took me on a journey of soul peace. Not only the music, but the painting. A painting of a journey. A peaceful journey to the unknown. But most importantly, the comments, knowing that other people feel the same as me and are moved by this in the same manner. We all are in this together. The struggles, the joy.

This is not an Ambient Mix. This is an existential journey.

I was just listening to this because it was "ambient" but I ended up crying while looking through old photos and the music just amplified the feelings

I clicked on this compilation from Joachim before Thanksgiving (I think it was that long ago) because it was interesting. Now... I listen to this nearly every week, if not twice a week. I love everything about it. It is my go-to!

In a realm where legends tread the line between whispers and the winds, there stood a tower so ancient that even time seemed to have forgotten its origins. It rose from the earth like a silent sentinel, its shadow a constant companion to the golden fields that swayed at its feet. Sir Cedric, a knight of the forgotten order, journeyed across these lands, guided by the tales of a tower that held a secret powerful enough to alter the fate of kingdoms. His steed, a chestnut mare named Elyria, bore him faithfully, and at his side trotted Aldwyn, his loyal hound, whose coat was as gray as the stones of the tower itself. They approached the monolith under a sky that danced with clouds, the sun casting a golden hue upon the land, as if the heavens themselves lit the path to their destiny. The wind carried the scent of adventure and the whispers of the past, urging them forward. Sir Cedric had been told that within the tower lay the Heart of Aeloria, a gemstone whose light never dimmed. It was said that he who held the Heart would know the truth of all things past and present. Many had sought the Heart, but the tower had not yielded its treasure, guarding its secret with a fierce will. As the trio reached the base of the tower, Sir Cedric dismounted, his armor clinking softly in the hush of anticipation. Aldwyn's keen eyes watched the shadows, his ears twitching at sounds only he could hear. The knight placed his gauntleted hand upon the weathered stone; it was cool and smooth, as if imbued with the essence of the sky itself. The tower's entrance was a simple arch, dark as night. There were no doors to bar their way, no guardians to challenge their passage. It was as if the tower had been waiting for them, as if their coming had been written in the stones of destiny. With a deep breath, Sir Cedric stepped into the darkness, Elyria and Aldwyn close behind. Inside, the air was alive with a faint hum, the sound of magic long slumbering, now stirring at the presence of the knight. They descended into the heart of the tower, where the true test of their quest would begin. This was the journey of Sir Cedric, the tale of the tower that touched the clouds, a story of courage and companionship, of mysteries locked in stone, and the eternal human quest for knowledge and light. And as the trio ventured deeper into the tower's embrace, the story was just beginning...

Honestly one of the best mixes I've found in a while. I love that depending on my mood, the mix means something different every time. I'm currently thinking about traveling. Seeing new places. Meeting new people. Remembering that even though none of this makes sense, it was never meant to. Peace to you all - good luck & safe travels.

Childe Roland to the Dark Tower came... Beautiful ambient and amazing picture.

I read Ishiguro's "The Buried Giant" listening to this mix. This mournful, ancient piano, low drones, and distant ambiance all feel like the forgotten tragedy of the novel. Ah, how war makes us forget! Masterful music. I could write an essay on how these two artists entwine perfectly.

The picture makes me long so deeply to be there... and makes me feel all the sensations that man is going through heading to that mysterious massive centuries-old like abandoned structure... I really can feel the freezing cold and how thrilling you should feel as you encounter with that in the middle of nowhere with miles and miles ahead in emptiness. Beautiful, just immensely beautiful.

Today is a day that I feel like giving up completely. If there is an afterlife I hope it might be somewhat like this sometimes.

Another beautifully curated selection, Blume. I overlay this with A Soft Murmur with soft rain and a bit of thunder and it helps me focus tremendously. I never fail to find a really good selection that helps with my tasks when I put in your name. This one, however, is really special.

This just soaks me in... coming back to this vid again and again. I had a lot of work to do today but every time I came to this video i found a little bit of inner peace. It made me realize how important it can be to take a break and just feel yourself. Thank you.

I can't stop listening to it

they once built nightly towers of dark stone reaching the celestial dome. A guide, looming ominously against the azure sky, bending one's will and imagination. these darkened obelisks were a tribute, to our knowledge and wisdom, yet where we once came from can no longer be known. The dark tower a testimony, a memory long forgotten, shadowy and mysterious, fleeting and unattainable. My tears stain my face, oh to remember, the joy and ecstasy of that moment. Can we ever return from once we came?

The art kind of gives me "Monstergarden" vibes I like it.

One of the best musicians I've ever personally known once told me that it's as important to listen to the spaces in between the notes, as to listen to the notes themselves. This music has so many beautiful spaces between the notes that the classical music on my father's radio - downstairs, across the house, through a closed door - still interfered with it.
