I feel that Rocketry has been completely overlooked this year in the cinespace by everyone (mainly critics) despite getting an amazing response. For a first-time directorial, Maddy did a phenomenal job. And his performance as Dr Nambi Narayanan was outstanding.

"Nitham Oru Vaanam" is very Underrated, when a cinema similar to this in Malayalam we praise that, but why it's not recognized in Tamil, for example Charlie in malayalam, later on blame, we don't have new content!!!

my personal opinion GVM take a new track one his life time and a pure comeback for STR & GVM, and mallipoo is gave a another surprise. And best fight scene of the year is 💯 VTK Paroda shop fight scene. A new level of storytelling and the cinematography is took us for another zone and vibe.

Natchathiram nagargirathu♥️... Most of them ignoring the movie coz they are mostly character of Arjun in natchathiram nagargirathu in start and they are never trying to go for changed arjun.
Best story for me was kadaisi vivasayi. I can’t say enough about the climax where that thatha brings in his harvest as an offering to their deity, goosebumps max. Also, I wish I could watch Gargi for the first time again, the story, suspense and the performances were top notch. Apart from all of this I loved vikram and thiruchutrambalam.- one non tamil movie I enjoyed to the core was thallumalla
I expect there will be a new award category for this year's recap, and it will be the Best Anti-Hero of 2023. I'm not sure if that's gonna happen but I'm looking forward from Loki to get such a category

He needs a breakthrough. Thiruchittrambalam definitely sole winner amongst the year of action genre. Love today instagram scene is excellent execution; leaves you feeling disgusted yet that 1 minute goes completely entertaining. Am yet to watch Gargi and Kadaisi vivasaayi.. will definitely watch

For the scene of the year Rolex intro would be a mass favourite but the scene that affected menthe most is in Kadaisi Vivasayi when the saint asks about the other person and how VJ reacts. It's beautiful beyond comparison, not just for this year, it's one of my favourite scenes of all time.

I have a list , but one interesting thing I noticed is you haven’t considered VTK any category. In a way it is his version of The Godfather/Nayagan. Still it didn’t make it to the list na, that many good movies and variety we got this year. So good for tamil cinema.I only wish this year we got viduthalai 1 , it would have been great to end the year with Illayaraja after a fabulous aniruth year at beginning and ARR comebacks in mid of the year. Wish that happens next year Indian-Maamannan-Viduthalai are the big 3 albums i look for next year (picked one for each, yes ani for T67 is big expectation, but meeting the cult Indian album is something else)

Love Today Instagram DM scene is just awesome 😍 I felt it's like a new way of portraying the scene to the audience. There are some scenes in Thallu maala where there will be social media aspect ratio or reels type scenes. But, Love Today scene is dope for it's presentation and execution 🤗.
