The media are clowns. I love Marshawn and when the guy asked, "What do you have to say to your fans?" He said, "They know why I'm here." He was completely right his fans knew why he was doing what he was doing, and respected him for it.

not a huge fan of the seahawks, but i am a huge fan of people who are in the spot light that have enough sense to not feed the media something they can spin for attention.
Marshawn is being criticised because he don't want to be orally active in interviews. You negative people are forgetting that he's one of the most intelligent running backs in the NFL. He is a great team member, a great family man, and also a charity owner. Why should he be criticised for not wanting to answer tge media questions? He's still a wonderful person no matter what he decides to answer. Stop degrading people for things that they decide to do it's not hurting anyone so what's the problem?

I know it’s been going on forever, but I personally credit Marshawn Lynch for exposing the media as the snakes they are. The fact that they continually tried goading this man during these interviews gave us great insight into what their priorities actually are and it seems like things have just continued to slide downhill for them for them from this point on.
There are big events that expose the lack of journalistic integrity across the entire field at least every few years going back centuries. Richard Jewell. Ossetia/Abkhazia conflict. Kyle Rittenhouse. Networks regularly continue to report claims that were debunked by video footage 24 hours in. People need to realize that the product which drives journalism is not information. The consumers who click / view the ads are the crop. And yes, this applies to all the institutions you think wouldn't possibly mislead you. They become more efficient at handling the crop year by year.
I can see why Marshawn hates the media. They always ask provocative questions to trip up athletes so they can make headlines. And their questions about the games are either incredibly vague, as if they didn't even watch the game, or it's preloaded with assumptions that make it tedious to answer. Sports journalists need to do better, man.

Yeah such a baited/loaded question. Answering is like admitting or just saying what he says again makes him look like a jerk and trying to defend yourself opens you to a whole line of questions "but you are being a jerk by not answering us"
