Diesel cars emit less CO2 than petrol cars, and currently with technology advances like antiparticle filter, Adblue, etc, they emit very low quantities of NOX. If we want to save the planet, we'll have to drive diesel and later hidrogen cars

@@carspottermilano9462 well, as long as the number plate is visible and on the front bumper, you shouldn't have an issue. RX8 is an example of that, almost the same issue with that Bmw has, drilling holes to the bumper. A lot of them have it on the side or even better as a sticker, that works for England anyway.

My stock diesel blows a lot of smoke under hard acceleration. Most of these cars must have their DPF removed, and mine never came with one in the first place

Diesels are so damn underrated. I got to test out a 540d xDrive recently so 340hp 700nm ZF 8HP so already a rocket in stock form it goes from 0-60 in under 5 seconds and holy shit the power that car had was insane. I'm confident that it would freight train even sports cars on the road because those 700nm were downright scary sometimes like in sport mode with the converter locked it was scary fast once the turbos were spooled fully. And this car was still a Euro6! So basically hot air and steam out the exhaust. Pretty sure with a full delete and tune it would do 500hp and 1000nm and probably still not roll coal. So yes I will be looking for a high output B57 when they get cheap on the used market :)

Greta should be happy since Diesels modified or not are more environmentally friendly than Petrols. The problem with diesels is that theyre bad for peoples health since they produce Nitrogen oxide which in worst case scenarios can induce cancer when breathing it in a lot.

the first bmw was very good, no black smoke but 2:30... more smoke from the exhaust than the tires.

Diesel is a great engine. Power and good mileage. Last time i owned a petrol car was thirteen years ago. Sad to see how people are just going to get rid of them.
