I think that Murdoch is the epitome of genius. He is like Captain Jack Sparrow.

Dwight Schultz made this character a laugh and a half riot, especially since his character had a unique perspective that helped the team out in more ways than one. But he also showed that the character may be crazy but not that crazy when it comes to the missions that the A-TEAM takes on. His unique chemistry and relationship with Mr T's character, B.A. is also very amusing to watch too, especially since B.A. may get annoyed by Murdock, he truly cares about him as a friend and teammate.

You have GOT to do a Part 2! How can you not include the scene where Murdock walked "down the aisle", coughing the whole time, when they were trying to rescue a woman from an arranged marriage to the bad guy, his stint as the Range Rider or Captain Cab, or his love of Captain Bellybuster burgers? Or him singing the "Witch Doctor" song? Or when he was pretending to be a dog when Face broke him out of the VA? Or "Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for flying Miracle Airlines, the only airline where Lady Luck is your co-pilot!"? Or in the first episode, he was flying the plane while the others were talking in the back and he goes casually walking by and Face had to drag him back to the cockpit.😂 These scenes on this video were great!! Good memories!!!

"I want a trash bag" I was in high school when that episode aired, The next day in school that was bouncing off the corridor walls. Hilarious!

I always saw him as sort of like bumblebee from transformers. He understands everything around him just fine, in fact, maybe a little too well, but his speech is just... tuned to a different frequency.

Great memories of the 1980's watching this, in school we would always pretend we were the characters, what I loved about this show was they could be locked in a garage with a rake, yet BA would build an amoured tank 😅

He was such a phenomenal actor I was always surprised he didn’t become a lead actor in tier 1 movies. There’s no doubt that he influenced Jim Carrey, Ryan Reynolds and many other actors that came after him

He is the most underrated actor of all time. I always compare him to Jim Carey.

The best thing about Murdock, is when the A-Team is in trouble, he’s there to get them out of trouble

He's the blueprint for Ace Ventura. When we played A Team as kids in the '80s I was always Murdoch.

Murdock was the low key hero of the show.

I just realised that Jim Carrey did a passable Dwight Schultz.

Summer evenings in the 80's is what this show sparks memories of. Good wholesome fun, I loved it.

In the very last episode "No Reservations" (Season 5), he showed IMHO his best dramatic emotions yet when Face got shot in the Italian restaurant and was dying; It's one of my all-time favorite episodes and was unfortunately their last gasp for the A-Team series! 😢😥

Dwight was perfectly cast as HM Murdock and to think the character was originally going to be scrapped by the powers that be what a mistake that would've been! So many cool Murdock moments, my favorites being Murdock in the wedding dress Calling BA 'scooter' from season 4 Winding BA up singing 'Roxanne' by The police Captain Cab/Sockie Range Rider In season 3's The Big squeeze asking BA and Faceman if they were friends of the bride or the groom at Hannibal's 'funeral 🤣🤣 absolutely hilarious

Murdock was not a mad man. He was in fact one of the smartest team members. One of my favorite episodes is the trash bag one. If you didn't know the team had to break someone out of prison and Murdock made a hot air ballon out of the trash bags.

Omg I love Murdock so much. I used to cosplay as him from time to time when my bestie and I were in college. I still have my whole get up. We'd go into Walmart and I'd make a bee-line for the garbage bags screaming about how I wanted trash bags! And even now, 10+ years later, I still occasionally sing the hearse song to myself and will spout out, "Well why don't you make up yo' mind!? First I'm crazy, then I'm not, then I'm crazy, then I'm not!" Man, I still wanna be Murdock when I grow up...

FUN FACT: When Saturday Night Live was being created Dwight Schultz auditioned for it but was turned down. Years later during the development of The A Team, one of the show's creators just happened to have also been involved in creating SNL and remembered Schultz's audition and decided to cast him as Murdock.

I liked the clip where Hannibal threw the cigarette in the gas and then used the confusion to steal a crate of Meilooruns.

Ha! If you watch very carefully, when Hannibal raises the rope between the posts (3:35) when it initially shows the bikers coming towards it, the rope's above their heads and they could have easily ducked under it. They must have reshot it with the rope then being at the right height to take them off their bikes and then edited it into the scene.
