KNOX!! I am SO SO SORRY. If you need anyone to talk to, reach out. I lost my husband and I'm raising our daughter alone. You put all my feelings into words in this song. This journey is fucking HARD but we just keep going for our children and show them to never give up no matter how tough things get. Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing. 2 years ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at only 22. You never know what God’s plan is but trust in him. Rely on your family! They were my rock. Y’all will get through this. Keeping your family in my prayers.

Keep your head up and just know God got you too!, my mamaw was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and was told that she had 6-8 months to live but has continued fighting and kept her faith going to church and caring for our family that's now been 10yrs ago even though she's dealing with alzheimers on her clear days she's still just humble grateful and remains faithful, my dad's mom had dementia but was the same way didn't give up as many times as she was told months which also turned to years until a stroke took her 2yrs ago, point is mindset is a powerful thing remain positive and keep your faith strong, I wish you the best and be in our prayers as well.

Lost my mom recently.... she was my rock through everything. I could go to her for anything. I'm incredibly lost. Have a 2yr old and 4yr old. Never thought I'd have to navigate motherhood without my mom.... then I feel like the worst wife. Going through health issues myself (that are eeirly similar to my mom's. She was a medical mystery). I'm fighting like hell to not let the grief and depression comsume me... but it's hard. I hate that my boys see me so sad and not quite understanding. I'm in therapy, all kinds lol. I just don't want to do anything that'll cause them emotional harm. I don't know your story, but this popped up and gave a listen. Hope everything works in your favor. It really is a beautiful song. I am hoping that your wife's situation is getting under control. I lost my dad this past November to cancer. You do not deserve this at all nor does your wife nor your girls. I may not know them at all but i have seen a great many of your videos. I know that they are good people from how you talk of them and how you light up when you talk of them. I cried with you through this song, such a touching tribute for your wife, beautiful images in the video and a good way to release the emotions for you so you can focus on the positives and not let the negatives drag you down. First off, let me Start by saying that i felt this deep in my soul. The lyrics were filled with such raw emotion and anguish. I am so unbelievably sorry for what you and your family have had to endure. I pray god gives you the strength to face whatever the future holds. Secondly, You, putting this out, I'm sure couldn't have been easy. Sharing your personal experiences for the world to see. It's an absolutely beautiful thing to witness. I lost my father to cancer when he was only 50 years old. It devastated me and took me down a very dark path that I'm beyond grateful to be on the other side now. Then i lost my sister and brother 7 mths apart(they were 32 &34) one was a drug overdose and the other ended his life.. I'm the one who found him. It gave me a whole new perspective on life & just how fragile it really is. Every day is a struggle, but i keep pushing forward, bcuz giving up isn't an option. Those words just aren't in my vocabulary. You seem like you share the same thoughts, as you constantly persevere over any adversity or tragedy that's thrown at you. This was amazing! Sending many prayers and love to you and your family from Michigan!

Wow, this seem eerie in terms of the tragedies piled back to back like I too have endured. I know everyone's story and struggle is their own but I can relate some to this. Thank you for sharing. I'm glad you found the strength to keep going and while the wounds never fully here, we still find a way to live with the scars and to try our best to be present in the here and now until the day when we are reunited with those we lost. @BeforeThisNovember Because after 15 years of marriage, nearly 20 years together- he walked away for someone else. So yes, I have my children, but I dedicated my life to a man who found someone else. That's why life is crumbling - if you really must know. Never question someone's grief or someone's story. Not until you walk a mile in their shoes. I am hopeful you didn't mean it the way it came across, but just know- we are all dealing with our own struggles. Take care

After moving back home, after getting divorced, I have just gone through the worst 4 years in my life. After nursing my dad through his last 3 weeks of cancer. I've been caring for my mum 24/7 for the last 4 years until she recently also passed away. I'm not doing very well myself at the moment and can understand a lot of what you are going through. With recently figuring out after 3 years of trying with my wife to have a child that we’ll know 100% in a week whether or not our efforts payed off, this song hit me like a freight train. I truly hope the best for you man. My wife is my centre of gravity so I can imagine how painful it is to see her sick and just wanting to see her the way she’s always been again. Love and compassion is a powerful thing, I would never have been able to come back without the love care and support around me.

I found you, Ren, and Black Pegasus about a little over a year ago now when I was in my darkest place. My wife went through emergency surgery for colon cancer a week after the emergency room brushed her off and sent her home. I'm lucky enough to still have her here with me. It's difficult to endure, but we endure for those we love. I love the work you do and the things you highlight on your channel. Wishing you and your family the best.

I'm 40 years old now, and I've been married for 20 years. I can say with certainty that marriage is hard sometimes. We've done and said things to each other that I'm not proud of. We stuck it out though, and we're closer because of those bad times. We had 2 kids when we we're at our lowest and most unsure about our future together. With love, understanding, and loyalty, we made it out of that dark place. 15 years after our 2nd kid, we fooled around and had another, lol. Now I have a 2 year old at 40. Nowadays, we barely even fight, but we kept that passion for each other. I say all of that to say it's worth fighting for. Put in the work and do everything you can possibly do. It'll be worth it in the end. From what I can tell, you seem like a really genuine guy, and are a good man. You were blessed with incredible talent man, and I appreciate you telling your stories. Much respect.

I’m new to your channel and when I say your a breath of fresh air ❤, I lost my mom, my best friend, my piece to ME, most times I feel lost,, but I know she loves me and that’s what keep me going!!! All I can say is hold on, look around you, love and fight for who belongs in your life, and as hurtful as it is to let go, sometimes you have to just LET GO. This is painfully beautiful. Your music speaks so loudly to so many, and it helps us make a home where a hole was. My wife is also chronically ill and it’s so fucking hard to keep moving forward when you’re scared of losing the most important person in your life. You want time to stop and give you relief from having to roll the proverbial dice day in and day out. I’m so sorry that this is your current reality. It fucking sucks but like you said, you’ve got 2 really important reasons to keep going. Everything is temporary, especially pain. Keep on keepin on my dude, you’ve got a mountain of talent and a work ethic that would make Sisyphus do a double take. Cheers

Wow, what a beautifully raw, honest and emotive song Knox! 💔 My apologies for the late comment, I watched the premier and was so moved due to the parallels with my own experiences I had to compose myself. I was diagnosed four years ago with adenoid cystic carcinoma, but after surgery and treatment I'm happy to say I'm clear now. I hope and wish the same for your beautiful wife, good luck with her treatment, stay strong and remember out of suffering the strongest souls emerge! Woha that got me. Im at a loss of what to say. But ill try. Im so sorry. After all of the other things i know this feels like the nail in the coffin but its not. Being the person its not happening to people can sometimes forget about you but you need to look ater yourself so you can look after your family. That being said I believe you will get through this. I can tell your wife and children are the most important people in your life. Im wishing you and your family all the strength to help your wife through this and I wish so much for your wife to get better soon. This made me bawl 😭 and describes my life to a T right now. 3 deaths in my family since December, my ex beat our 10 year old son (in and out of court and therapy for my son), my daughter's husband was cheating and they have a 3 year old. So, now they are getting a divorce, which is like another death. I was already depressed, but working through it. I'm a writer and just finished another book in November and haven't published it. I can't make myself work. I usually channel all my pain and emotions into my writing, but I'm down bad this time. Amazing song, Knox. Thanks for sharing. Once I compose myself, I'll listen again.
