Marquez with that kid skid in the first clip it's crazy to me. I've been I two wheels since I was about 4. And I can't imagine trying to learn to kid skid. That first attempt would be mind numbingly scary. I already dread the thought of high siding after having a few close calls and landing on the tank. I can't imagine intentionally getting the rear to step out and not shitting myself. Plus having to balance engine breaking and rear braking perfectly to just slow the back tire and not let it lock. This is truly poetry in motion. And I bet it's all just simple muscle memory to him. That level of control is truly amazing.

Mike Labonte I do it occasionally on accident and if you have trust in your own skills it isn't too scary or hard to control. Or maybe I'm just way too confident in my riding... Ever since I read twist of the wrist my bike control has tripled at least.

I have taken two classes by Lance Holst thus far and the improvement is markedly. Total Control was a good book for Track and Street Riders. While I have never slid like this on the track, growing up riding dirt helped me decidedly.

Does anyone have the footage where Rossi does a wheelie over the finish line and goes to pretty much 12 o’clock and saves it? I think it was in the motogp documentary but I’ve looked everywhere and I can’t find it? Anyone know the clip im talking about? It’s been bugging me for months Thanks

Antonello Bergamasco And they were supposed to have equal engines.Equal engine my arse, Honda the biggest cheat has no understanding of the word "equality". Iannone is a better racer/rider than Marquez. Only Marquez has helping hands and Iannone doesn't.

i know its all good... but the answer to your question is no... with the slipper clutch i mentioned previously it prevents rapid deceleration and to turn your just push with your legs to control.. its alot like riding a bicycle...
