Best of Reggie VS Dark Souls (1/2) 

Hey guys, Siv here. This is Best Of #23 from me. Working on this one had the same challenges as Disco Elysium, whereby there were so many good moments and I had to start trimming off some stuff to keep the runtime in check(such as Siegmeyer's finale), but for the most part, I'd say I got the good stuff in there. The BlightCon promo trailer was an idea I had while watching the LP, so I'm glad I could add that in. Cheers, and enjoy.

Woolie's spite growing in parallel to Reggie's luck was hilarious and beautiful to behold.

Perhaps the best Dark Souls LP I’ve seen. Reggarth the Lucky, Son of the Boar & Woolie’s lore made this a fantastic experience & changed the way I view this game forever

1:41:36 is incredible. Reggie manages to almost completely refill his health, but in less than 2 seconds skelewheel rattles Reggie's asshole to a pulp like it's the little arrow on Wheel of Fortune, then slams him into a wall for good measure. The unprovoked, unpredictable violence dealt by these guys is brutal.

Thank you Mr Siv for compiling Reggie's slow descent into primal savagery and madness. I hope part 2 includes the part where he kills Woolie in a blood rage and consumes his heart for his courage.

2:37:20 I honestly loved how Reggie flew through the Archer segments because of the reaction we got out of Woolie. Woolie's pettiness at Regarth's luck streaks is the other half of my enjoyment of the Soul's series in these playthroughs. Reggie is to good a boy to want to see get down in the dumps.

Oh boy, this playthrough. The tale of Lucky Reggie (or “Lucky Redge” like “Lucky Ted”) and how he beat the game with an *even* split of skill and luck

I love that despite 99% of Reggie's face being offscreen when Woolie shows him the Tarkus video, you can still see his eyes widen in glee

Adding comments on the screen during the compilation is such a nice touch. I've never seen any channel WITH a "best of" compilation, put that much dedication and detail to them.

YESSIR My favorite recent let's play on this channel, there were many ups and downs and there were some extreme backseat gamer moments from Woolie, aka the abyss ring, but overall I loved Reggie's reactions throughout the entire game and would love to see more ReggieVS in the future.

Reggie getting all these rare drops is absurd. Black Knight Great Axe is one of the best strength weapons in the game.

Omg, I can't go back this after Elden Ring. I just keep looking at Reggie fighting bosses and thinking "Jump R2!"

Man... I love Ceaseless Discharge, I never had a good term to describe that feeling when you're so sick that it's "coming out the top & bottom" but the phrase ceaseless discharge really sums it all up. Using the phrase in a sentence: "Hey you coming out to the bars with us tonight?" "Nah I can't even get out of my bathroom, I keep flipping over from one side to the other on the toilet it's a pretty ceaseless discharge."

Reggie's luck is absolute bullshit and I'm glad Woolie got as heated as I did when the Londo archer dipped

One of my favorite things from this series is Reggie’s persisting PTSD from the Tower Knight falling on him

As always, the compilations are a welcome addition to the channel and the little edits and memes added in help spice it up. The tale of Reggie The Boar is one for the ages.

seeing people do O&S is really weird for me cause i killed ornstein in my runs on the first playthrough and seeing how tough phase 2 ornstein with the ground pounds and stuff makes me wonder why most people wind up killing smough first?

Huh. Woolie didn’t know that overkilling enemies gives bonus souls? I found that out soon after I got the game. It helped with farming AND gave me motivation to practice parrying and counterstabs due to the greater damage that gives you. Grinding in Anor Londo, I got REAL good at parrying those damn black knights. 😁 Suck SHIT, you try-hard scrubs! 🤟😝 You can’t touch me anymore!
