Melissa Cooper yes it’s almost like when people have the ability to access the worlds largest database of information literally in their pocket, they want to take advantage of that...
Rod: What does "gay" mean? Bart: Um, it means... you used to be afraid, but you're not anymore. Rod: I'm gay, Daddy! I'm gay! Mrs. Simpson made me gay!
He made it possible for the Simpsons to get their house back, even if that was handled in a pat and clumsy fashion like all their recent attempts to deal with real-world issues.
I'm just going to take a moment to appreciate the scene with Bart and Edna Krabappel. The moment where the two show respect to one another is enjoyable to watch.
They have several of those. The one where Bart pretends to be her love-by -etter to prank her and then feels bad so let's her of real smooth is a great one.
I love the episodes where the characters act like real people who have compassion for others and don’t shove their beliefs or morals onto other people Lisa.
Probably no more than Homer's ruined his. In fact, I can see Rod and Todd being different than Ned when they grow up, to the point of rebelling against some of their father's views. Whereas I can see Bart just morphing into Homer.
tenchi586 the cycle continues in the male Simpson. They're always abused by their fathers and the difference is Homer didn't turn out as a failure. Bart on the other hand might because everyone expects it from him and no one gives him any nurturing for him to change. Deep inside he actually is a good kid. I know people will disagree but I say that Homer and Marge are in fact horrible parents. Homer obviously is a horrible father but Marge is a lousy mother in a sense she doesn't discipline her children, she's overbearing with Maggie, she can't lecture/teach Lisa on how to socialize and she'll find ways to ruin the fun.
Don't forget "dice are Satan's bones", dumb yet funny. That's why the Simpsons are a longrunning cartoon. Keep filling our lives with laughter, Simpsons, for the next 30 years that come!
All languages stem from whatever words were used over and over and taught to eachother, or variations of words from another language that had to be used over and over. Then there's slang
@@princess11251 yep usually there is at least one person feeling offended and trying to defend a stupid Bible or religious statement, even though it’s often obvious, how dumb that is.
At least they’re not subjected to the kind of verbal and physical abuse Bart gets from Homer. If anything, it just goes to show that even when the writers try to stack the deck against the Flanders family, the Simpsons themselves still come off looking worse and it’s their show! They are the worst characters on their own show.
When I was little I used to play with dolls and play "daddy" with them. And I went through a phase where I was jealous of girls dresses because they looked comfortable. I grew out of it once I was about 10 or 11 it happens.
That would have meant that he didn't grow up from when he was a child. In Hurricane Neddy from season 8, he uncontrollably beat up other kids due to lack of discipline from his parents.
Flanders:And Harry Potter and all of his friends went straight to hell for practicing witchcraft. The end. Kids:Yay!! THAT IS TGE BEST LINE IF THIS SEASON!!
I know Ned is doing his job as a parent, but, I do think he's too over protective. He needs to learn he can't always shelter the boys nor always be there for them. He needs to let go, and prepare them for the world and for life.
@Joseph Richter in season 2 the war of simpsons, Ned and Maude go to reverand lovejoy to improve their marriage, Lovejoy asked them what is wrong, Maude said Ned to say it with sadness, then Ned said sometimes Maude god bless her she underlines my Bible cause she can't find her one, homer was around and said, lucky you don't keep guns in the house.
Flanders: “And Harry Potter and all his wizard friends went straight to hell for practicing witchcraft” *closes book* Todd: “YAYYYYY” Flanders: *throws book in fire place*
@@Amp661 As well as wimpy, Lisa is right they will be bullied like anything and used and abused because they cannot function outside of the pious bubble that Maude and Ned had taught them.
"well you knew i had a temper when you married me" remember that one episode when we find out ned did have anger issues and he exploded with emotions, and admitted himself in the crazy house. ah good times
I was just watching a video on predictions the simpsons made, and the first thing I thought when I heard that was " THEY'RE PREDICTING THE EMOJI MOVIE"
Normally when the modern Simpsons are funny, in my honest opinion, it’s usually when Agnes and Dolph make comebacks, ‘cause Tress MacNeille is a very funny woman. I wouldn’t have watched this show if it weren’t for her. So, I’m gonna keep watching the show until she dies.

Flanders - “And Harry Potter and all his wizard friends went straight to hell for practicing witchcraft!” Todd - “YAY!!!” (Flanders throws book in the fireplace) 😂😂😂
Yeah and they need a bit of a fun childhood experience and trust me even Christians like myself need to have a balanced life of being a normal kid that is experiencing fun things like playing with video games and still have a balanced healthy relationship of being Christian and Ned needs to teach that way of life to his kids so, they can become just like him, but relaxed and not overreact of something that is fun.
Maude: Todd, would you like some mixed vegetables? Todd: Hell no. *Ned, Maude and Rod gasp in horror* Maude: What did you say? Todd: I said I don't want any damn vegetables. Ned: Alright. That's it young man. No Bible stories for you tonight! *Todd runs upstairs crying*
