If the judges scored for style instead of gymnastics rotations we could have both. This is fully constructed situation we could get out of if the ESPN judges would give style more weight in their score. Sponsors and advertisers like predictability. They like the kid they spent their money on to be on camera, not some rando shredder that kills it with style. It's not hopeless. We need to teach people what makes snowboarding 'good'...the advertisers, sponsors, etc will follow.

i’m new to snowboarding and have never been on a halfpipe or even in the park just trails and am trying to understand what the knuckle is and what is knuckle huck but it’s just not making sense when i look it up can someone explain it for me

If they added to olympics they break the spirit of it as they usaly do with rules. it should stay as it is fun.

I don't care about the format or so, I wanna see Fridge stamp recklessly down a hill and Zeb Powell fall in control at the Olympics

@@willbill6449 yes that's also gonna be gone too. The IOC basically eliminates all fun aspects of the event including that stuff. they would say once zeb "fell" he would be done with his run and take Fridge's backpack.
