This kid had a cosch who's learnig (26 out of 82 and 35 out of 82 games), a coach who held him back unlike Tatums, Smith Jr, and Mitchell's coach and Lonzo still was close to a triple double as a Rookie. Lonzo is already Box Office and a Star because he's been in the media since he was in High School and has lived up to the hype.

ESPN wont cover the JBA league or anything positive LaVar or the Ball family does -- it's been a smear campaign ever since he bodied Steven A Smith on First Take... Lonzo is special, this season will be great. I'm not a Ball Family superfan, just love to see a family with real talent working together. LaVar has a big personality, but what has done wrong? He just speaks his mind, just like everyone on this network.

De’Aaron Rose I don't hate Lavar ball, I actually admire what he has helped his kids accomplished. And I for one started watching the summer league this year. Not even last year.. I just wanted to point out how wrong your statement is. If you're gonna praise Lavar, at least praise him on accurate shit. If ANYTHING , the media has used the ball family to support the summer league. That would be an even more accurate statement then the one you made.

thankyou, anyone can play in the half court and pass the ball to players running off screens. I admire that he is unselflish, but honestly his playmaking is overrated. He's good when in the open court, but when in the half court, offensively he's pretty bad. Can't drive past anyone, no mid range, no ability to finish at rim, so just settles for heaving threes. There were hundreds of times where in the half court, he'd just hand the ball to someone else and stand in the corner...

Idk why Stephen a thinks Lonzo is gonna be a bust (note I'm not a Lakers fan) Lonzo averaged 11, 7 and 7 as a rookie! Hes already proven to be one of the top floor generals in the league and on top of that he's only 19! He has years to fix his jump shot. Not to mention he's a very underrated defender. People say Simmons is a jumper away from being great but in reality.. lonzo is in the same boat in some sense

Somebody needs to give the definition of "high basketball iq". Is it a pass first guy, is it a guy who knows when to pass and when to score, a guy that plays great d all the time, a guy that thoroughly understands his team's plays and the other teams plays, or is it all of that. Lonzo had the worse shooting percentage because of the additional pressure. The additional pressure pressures him into taking extra shots that he otherwise wouldn’t have.
