That moment when you realize instead of flying cars we got flying naval carriers, and if Tony REALLY wanted to he could easily make a flying car. Repulsor engine technology baby
@@samueltheblonde holy shit. Rocket did say his people can only say 'I am Groot' (meaning all of them), now they can't all possibly be called Groot, and we know the way they say it matters so maybe his name really is tree. Or maybe Thor knows what his name is and calls him tree anyway so Groot gets mad and is like 'I told you it's _______' now i wanna know what his name is...
nah, it's just another shitty Whedonism. part of the one "Cap is an old-man!" joke that doesn't make sense and was pretty much the limit of how Whedon characterised him.
I'm really sad that Peter only ever met cap once. I feel like they could have had really heart warming scenes where Steve gives Peter really sound advice and we all go "aww! Look at Steve being such a dad!" Such a missed opportunity.
@@hmoim1986 also flirting with him doesn’t necessarily mean wanting to get with someone. I see Natasha very much as someone who flirts with people just for the fun of it
That is kinda the point of captain america. He is a brave man anyway, which keeps him from being a bully. Like the scientist said in the original movie.
She didn't. She never spoke to him until he was on his way to become a super soldier, and she never expressed any amount of attraction until he had been altered by the serum.
FireAngel Dragon nah bro I just watched it yesterday, there are many moments where Peggy kept eyeing Rogers whenever he did some big sick energy shit and she fucked with it before the experiment. After it just sealed the deal for her cause now he is attractive but still a man at heart. She has always seen his heart and that’s why she liked him before and after.
"That's enough." I love that he just stopped a genius billionaire in an indestructible suit and a god with an equally indestructible hammer using an almost indestructible frisbee and scolded them like children.
I love how he is so concerned about properly introducing himself to Groot that he just stops fighting aliens to directly address him. That's his real superpower, always doing the right thing.
He’s honestly underrated. Too many people think he’s too much of a goody two shoes but like sometimes that’s a good thing. He’s just genuinely a good guy who wants to help others.
@@voidsthetic2288 especially when you consider they weren't even a thing. She just saw them kissing, drew her own assumptions and shot at him. And even if he had kissed Lorraine himself (he didn't, he was forced) Peggy had no right to be mad.
I like how everyone except Tony in the modern era of the MCU acts respectful in the presence of Steve in the first Avengers movie. From their perspective he was the first Superhero in the history of the and a WW2 legend. But for Tony he was like the perfect older brother who was his dad's favorite child. 😂😂
I love that hardly anyone ever mentions the accent Chris Evans gives Steve Rogers. The fact that Chris speaks with the old fashioned early 1900's American accent is awesome.
It's such an underrated line, but the bit where Nat's trying to get Steve to take the girl from accounting on a date and he says, "Lillian. Lip piercing, right? I'm not ready for that." has soooooo much character. The fact that he learned and remembers the random girl's name shows his interest and care for people. Then his comment about the piercing shows he respects people and their choices, but he also knows himself and the type of people he gets along with best. Also, it's a funny joke.
@@chanbricks4461 nah I think he changed in those years. like he was much more prideful back in ultron, he would’ve got upset then. he’s still happy he kind of figured it out though, and happy for cap and also happy they’re not going to die
Steve immediately after the battle: did he ask you to open the portal on my left? Dr. Strange: yeah what’s up with that explain please Steve: no, I don’t think I will
One of my favorite moments in all of the MCU is when Thanos is trying to crush Cap and he's able to resist momentarily. Thanos is utterly confused as to how a simple human without any fancy armor or technology is able to hold him at bay.
It wasn't just Thor's feelings he'd be hurting, it'd be Tony's and everyone else's in that room. That hammer moved because no one is a little worthy. You either are or you aren't, and Steve has always been worthy. But part of being worthy is being humble.
@@crescent2dubsno, it’s true. That’s why it slightly shifts then stops, Cap starting moving it and went OH SHIT IM NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO DO THIS to himself. Also why Cap is later able to literally use the hammer in the fight against Thanos.
Steve: your suit, its vibranium T'challa: the black panther has been the protector of wakanda for generations, a mantle passed from warrior to warrior, and now that your friend murdered my father, I also wear the mantle of king. So, I ask you, as both warrior and king: how long do you think you can keep your friend safe from me
3:34 I love the depth of character in this bit, how Sitwell is acting tough, but you can tell he's still scared. "Is this little display meant to insinuate that you're going to throw me off the roof? It's really not your style, Rogers." "You're right. It's not." (Sitwell breathes a sigh of relief.) "It's hers."😳
Ericka Gabrielli Velez when cap was fighting thanos and broke his shieldt doctor strange opened the portal to allow all the other avengers and so on to come into the battle Sam quietly said “on your left” I’m surprised you don’t remember it was one of the best scenes in the film
He ditched the suit with the built in magnet during Civil War, and then he didn't use it in too many fights during End Game before it was broken by Thanos.
Steve Rodgers: "How can I, you're taking all the stupid with you." Also Steve Rodgers: *immediately proceeds to commit a crime by falsifying documents for like the 17th time so he can join the army*
Steve: *Says Bucky is taking all the stupid with him* Also Steve: *Joins the army, jumps on a grenade, lets a German scientist give him experimental drugs, storms a HYDRA base by himself with a prop shield, and like twenty million other endearingly stupid things*
1:57 I love this scene. For context, the drill instructor made everyone race to get a flag on a flagpole to get a ride with Agent Carter. Everyone tried climbing but it didn't work. Just as the instructor tokd everyone to come back, Steve decided to break the flagpole, and get the flag.
@@jayeetachoudhury2091 It's a reference to Age of Ultron.. But yes, I did watch Wandavision. And I don't think *you* watched it because that was Ralph Bohner.
Alee Paterson the whole point of the movie was “work smarter not harder”. Why spend hours in the gym when u could use steroids and become captain america
