Love this young man so much he has had a few bumps in the road and fighting some demons hes gonna make it well i hope he does and lanae is a great asset to him
I love Bakari's growth. I love that he's finally seeing that he doesn't have to necessarily be whatever certain people are trying to label him as. Bakari can be better.
He's a little older than Papa, Jake and Kevin. They were 12 in season 1 but Bakari was Coogie's best friend and Coogie was 15 so Bakari should be about 20 or 21.
@@Arimas-bx2rt Rashaad said in Season 5 that Bakari was 16. I don't know, the Chi's timeline goes based on when the seasons were filmed, I don't know if they take into account other aspects of the story to correlate the character's ages with it. But based on what Rashaad said in season 5, it's safe to assume he was 16 in that season, but other seasons I don't know.
They went to prom in season 6 so it’s safe to say he is about 17-18 and I don’t think papas dad is letting someone almost 3-4 years older than his son stay at their house regardless if he’s a pastor
In the beginning I couldn’t stand Bakari like I can’t stand Douda and I wanted Bakari gone but then I saw that he is only a child. A very messed uped child who just needed someone who cares to be in his corner. You can see his grit but you can also see his innocence. I now love watching him with the other kids having the opportunity to be a kid and grow
This God reminds me of Ghost’s son Tarique. Their characters and their journey are nearly identical. The difference is Tariq had people to pull him back but he chose to isolate because he was a twin after the accident he got his own sister killed. Where is this guy here had nobody, so it makes sense for him to go down the dark path. Which Arief it felt forced even though it was good it always felt forced. And that’s what I made that’s why it was easy for so many fans to hate him and his character, but love this one. Their concept is based on the same design the same trials the same tribulation.
