@@jameslopez488 Yeah but the show ain't been as good since Mitchell been gone and a big part of htat is because he was a big part of the show and they just took him off without filling the void. The kids storyline should be a backdrop not the main focus of the show IMO.

Damn I was hurt when they took his character off the Chi , he was a pivotal peace to the story , very relatable , somebody who had all the talent , but never got a fair shot

The Chi ain’t been the same since he left. I’m over it. It sucks now. They could easily bring him back and say his death was a cover up for witness protection.
It's fucked up how an allegation automatically deems you guilty without proof or even a trial. Ruining peoples life's. And if they do get the chance to clear their name. The media will hardly talk about you being cleared or innocent of any wrong doing. I hope he gets more work and has a long and fruitful career. He's a talented dude 💯

No one is even pursuing charges they are just leaving him alone that should tell you something. He even laughed about being with another man’s woman while she was drunk in this interview. The chi got so trash after he left and it wasn’t just the fact that he left that made it trash, it was the fact that the whole story revolved around him and that left the writers to focus on lesser characters
It still crushes my soul, that he's still suffering from those awful accusations that literally had NO proof behind them!!! He is such a talented actor!! From his well known/best films such as Straight Outta Compton which he touched the lives of many all over the world with his phenomenal portrayal of late rapper Eazy E; and his other films Superfly, Kong Skull Island and many more films that were legit masterpieces. We all are human that make mistakes, and are not designed to be perfect; clearly he is one of us as well. I've actually met him several times, and each time I met him, he was really nice and humble. I've also had a really big crush on him for a few years. He was my true inspiration. He still is now. It's really sad that ppl will seriously do anything to ruin your success. I hope that one day, he will be able to get behind the camera again for possible future projects. He deserves it, and didn't deserve how he went down. As his catch phrase goes, "you already know what it is, what it was, and what it will be." ❤️❤️ He will always be in my prayers!!! 🙏🙏
His co- worker said he was harrassing her and she even bought her boyfriend to the set and he was fired from another project due to harassment. Two allegations. What reason would two different people on two different sets make the same allegations

I loved him on the Chi as Brandon. I cried when they killed him off .He was such a real character that people could relate to.. damn they didn't have to do my boy like this. He is a great young up in coming actor..
Everyone is speaking more on his acting more than the issue at hand. I loved this guy in the shy as well and haven’t watched it since I found out he would not be on it but in this interview it sound like a bunch of excuses, acting and there are also some things not being discussed……Many different ppl lying on this one man just doesn’t seem very likely to me but hey that’s just my opinion. Everything done in the dark comes to light eventually. May the TRUTH prevail.

I loved all story lines of the chi but I truly looked forward to Brandon’s storyline. I almost quit watching the show when I realize I wasn’t coming back. I just watched the shoe in 2023. So I never knew the reasons behind why he left until I googled it. If only accountability conversation happened in the beginning of all these situations. Brandon surely stole the heart of those who watch the show.
We need him back on “The Chi”! I just knew he was in protective custody and coming back! 😢 They made a big mistake losing him. Jason Mitchel is the best actor they’ll ever have!
I was gonna watch the show but after watching a lil bit of it getting into his character and seeing how he was axed out just makes me not even wanna continue the series tbh
A sexual allegation with no victim to corroborate the charges against the perpetrator. It's the allegation that destroys a person's credibility. Even if exonerated, no one wants to believe they've been lied to, so it's easy to just keep the victimization going leaving the wrongly accused twisting in the wind to pick up the pieces on their own.

I was shocked when his character Brandon suddenly disappeared from CHI. Jason Mitchell is an excellent actor and his character was and is sorely missed. Things happen even things that are unfair. I wish his all the success in the world.
from my point of view, the chi really fell off after they got rid of his character because he was a really good actor. It's a shame that in the society we live in, all someone has to do is accuse you of something or just make a statement, and you stand to lose so many opportunities!!! I hope to see him win in a big way in the future!!
Never scratch your head, face or neck when answering/explains something it means your deceiving, YOUR HEAD IS NOT ITCHING YOUR MIND IS!! His hand gestures while explaining is to make sure you hear him truthfully or falsely
All this time I thought it was a sexual assault situation. That's what I heard from the media. Glad he cleared that up cause it had me feeling some type away about him as a person.
There is more to the story. He didn't even talk about the accusation from Tiffany Boone. He only talked about half the story. His costar was so uncomfortable that her boyfriend would have to come to set.
Vlad need to ask him about the Tiffany Boone allegations it was reported it got so bad her boyfriend had to come with her to set when she shot scenes with Jason Mitchell
Yea I think Tiffany Boone is what really got him fired. Also Tiffany and Jason had a explicit scene together and The Chi never did nude scenes after the Jason situation with Tiffany
Right because apparently he would take scenes too far & was hounding her. But what really got him fired is they knew he was accused of this previously so when she left with her claims they had to have known it was true. She left so it would have been no reason to fire him if it was just speculation. He got into it with men on other sets. Dude tried to bring New Orleans to Hollywood
I got accused by an ex in Jr high and it changed my entire life for the worse. No idea where i'd be today if things just stayed normal. Breaks my heart to even think about it
@@Macmittens411 Was in a nice committed relationship with my chick (white girl) we were legit the only people in school that were active and after we broke up she got shamed a bunch then just started saying it was assault (2 whole months of assault apparently) Everyone automatically believed her. Anytime i found a new chick and it was going good i'd get a random text "you r*ped blank" then it was BLOCK. Many many times. Eventually all the fights at school and bad stuff at home (mom didn't have my back whatsoever she's wicked she says sick stuff like she knows i did it that's who i am. she's always said that kinda stuff) Anyways started losing my mind so from 14 - 20 i was in and out of the mental hospital pretty much non stop. Been on every medication pretty much even 14 different kinds at once because my mom would take me to so many different doctors so all these side effects at once tore my mind and body apart. Once i was 18 i quit cold turkey from everything it was awful but eventually I was decent. Life's never been the same and my mind hasn't either so every day is a struggle.
Nothing happened, that's the thing. The company didn't no smoke so just a whisper of anything maybe inappropriate got him cut. This was the time we were finding out all these dudes in Hollywood were creeping so he caught a stray
I really hope this brother can bounce back. He was treated so bogus. At the end of the day he's a great up and coming actor who was never charged with anything.

This interview show me the importance of going through therapy when someone close to you dies. It sounds like this was a miscommunication on both sides that blew up to something bigger. The Chi went downhill once he was off the show. Also, I loved him in Superfly. Dope movie

@@CoCo-yv3hlwell all the allegations were never clear. Not one clear situation stated from a single person saying what he may or may not have done. We know he took her home drunk one night. We know the boyfriend made the HR call. We know Jason called the boyfriend to figure out why he called HR,, And we know after that Tiffany felt uncomfortable and began bringing her boyfriend to work after the HR sexual conduct classes. It obviously wasn't some unwanted touching situation or they would have fired Jason immediately. But they didn't. Also the other came from Ayanna who Jason inadvertently got fired talking to Lena about a comment about taking drugs to self medicate to cope. Now yes if somebody actually said what Jason has supposedly done, then fair. But all the "I felt uncomfortable" is BS. I can make a joke and make you uncomfortable. And if anybody ever looks up sexual misconduct allegations it's such a widely vague charge. It could be, hypothetically,Jason possibly asked Tiffany out a couple times while not knowing she had a boyfriend and wasn't interested until the 2nd time. She told her boyfriend, Then Jason being the one to call her boyfriend when she was drunk doesn't help. Next you then got Jason calling after the boyfriend made a HR call on him. Which likely is the reason she felt uncomfortable at that point. At least that's what he thinks it is. Cuz nobody told Jason exactly what possible situation the SM charges pertain to

Honestly when Jason was off the show I stopped watching because I didn’t see how it would survive that. I eventually started back watching and it’s pretty good, although I do miss Jason.

The Boston situation he was filming with Mark walhburg and he tried to Holla at a girl he ignored him and he grabbed her up and was yolking her up and two guys had to stop it and he ran and went on the run thy had to put a warrant out him

We live in a day in time where keeping silence in foul moments is rewarded or celebrated but when you challenge or speak up to clear the air of the lies it typically means more drama is on the way. For the outspoken individuals it’s literal hell.
Jason was the reason why I watched the chi now I watch it here and there but he was the reason the chi was successful first season into second season just for that moment. Crazy how they killed him off because of retaliation and they know it was just that she gets fired then comes back moments later and say he did that
