"The Floating Piers" is a unique installation by Christo & Jeanne-Claude, located in Lake Iseo, Italy. For 16 days - from June 18th to July 3rd 2016, people could "walk on water" between the town of Sulzano, Monte Isola and Isola di San Paolo over floating piers.
Footage in this video was taken on June 23,26,27, 2016. On June 26 in the evening, a thunderstorm affected the lake. Piers were closed to visitors, and rain and high waves kept visitors stranded on Monte Isola for a couple of hours. The sights were enchanting...
