I suspect he was actually a fair and decent teacher, but he's bound to have worked with teachers like Phil, sorry, Mr. Gilbert. So that's where he's drawing his experience from to create the character.

He’s admitted he was a rubbish teacher. Kids found him funny but a student once nominated him for teacher of the year on the basis he didn’t make them do any work and the head teacher couldn’t tell him the news for laughing. He’s probably selling himself short though, some of his other teaching stories hint he was actually a good, dedicated teacher.

Idiots. I wish they made a series 4.

The writers. Believe it or not pal, but you can't just magic a story line out of thin air. There's something called 'quitting while you're ahead', as if to not make a terrible season if you know it won't be good. Plus, all the characters would have been too old.

I believe they made their mistake making the inbetweeners movie 2, it was another story we didn't need and was lackluster.

because jay,will, simon and neil and all their classmates are teens. If they can't make them look like teens then they would need new actors and most people want the original cast.

if i remember correctly, I think the main 4 guys are making a new show similar to inbetweeners.

not a new show but a more recent show is "white gold" which is actually really funny (BBC Two on Iplayer) something like that again would be great with the main 4.
