I posted something similar. The rest of the world, even it's enemies, used to admire the US. America stood for an ideal and produced incredible stuff that we all wanted. And now it's a moral graveyard with a cancerously dishonest political class, obsessed with war profiteering and a cultural desert. America was the workshop of the world in the 20th century, but now, what? All the vibrant energy seems to have dried up and its left the US like a ghost of it's former self. I still think there's hope, Americans are very entrepreneurial but some sort of renaissance is going to be needed. The Democrats just want to level down, in Socialist fashion. And the old school Republicans are too complacent to make radical change. Logically, only Trump has the capacity to make things happen, which is why all the vested interests seem to want to hold him back. They would rather be in decline and retain control than support change which might affect their grip on power.

Interesting. My daughter is 28 and my other is in her 20s also. When I queried them they kind of just said we just don't care anymore, our generation more than likely will not be able to even buy a house, always drowning in debt, everything unaffordable, especially rent . They've lost hope.

James Woods since I was in High School has been my very favorite actor. I would see ANYTHING he was in over & over VIDEODROME did it for me when it first came out. I was in high school & right there I fell in love with James to find out as an adult he has the mental acuity to see the Truth & not cave to pressure but to stand for what’s true & right in America That he sees America just as I do & wants for America what I do & wants the unity back like we use to have as Americans like we did after 9/11 & we all stood together. My son should be starting kindergarten at the public elementary school that is 1 mile from our front door. However, and May, the school board tried a sneaky maneuver to redistrict three streets in my neighborhood to a crappy Title I school across town because of “overcrowding.” (The school we were redistricted to is even more crowded BTW.) one of the subjects that was brought up repeatedly is that there are “nonresidential” students, including kids bussed up from Maryland on grants and illegal immigrant kids, taking up space at our elementary school, and that they need to go. Every time we parents asked about this and asked for clarification and an accurate figure, we were told no, that that doesn’t concern us, that we are racists, etc. When you live in PA and pay a specific public school tax on top of your property taxes, you damn well do have a right to know. My taxes last year were $7,400. And because I refuse to send my tenderhearted, five-year-old to a 5/10 school, I’m the boogeyman. Gah! It is happening everywhere. Thankfully, we got him into a catholic school, unfortunately we aren’t catholic… ugh.
