I know right. I've listened to every episode, and because of the pandemic I've heard most of them two or three times And each year end reviews is STILL like it's the first time lol
2:26:35 "We're in 2022 now" ... wow, that comment aged like milk. You know it's actually 2023 now, right, James who is presumably stuck in this podcast?
Happy New Year to everyone! Especially to Little James, who is still presumably underneath the table celebrating all alone... Edit: I sincerely doubt that Little James will stay dead... his horrible little spirit is way too strong.
@@rawcollings how am I not subscribed to your channel already?! I'm correcting this oversight right now. Happy New Year! Looking forward to more stellar content from you!
I refuse to belive Little James is dead until I see the body. I smell little insurance fraud. Edit: I should really watch till the end, I'm just relieved Little James is okay what a wild ride
The El Muerto Script saved me. The laughter it brought to me is amazing, thank you guys. Beyond perfect timing when i first heard it earlier in the year (life wasn't so good(
Just driving home from the Pub, and I see this new episode in my notifications. The Mason opening sets the tone for what to expect from these guys in 2023. THE BLOODY GLOVES ARE OFF! Happy New Year everyone! Looking forward to another year of The Weekly Planet.
“IM A PEDOPHILE!!” And crawling around on the floor like worms, without shoes, with hot plates everywhere…. Where the steaks are so low, the stakes have never been higher!!…. Made me laugh out loud so hard that I had to pull over to avoid vehicular death/manslaughter… Thank you for that guys.
Listening to these guys go completely insane about the "windows or doors" riddle was pretty amazing. You can hear the distinction between "we're entertaining this for a moment" and "life has no meaning but doors and windows"
Omg the doors and windows conversation is the best thing this year. I have conversations just like this. One time I remember debating when is a puddle a pond then a lake.
People say that Star Wars is tired and played out, and that the studio should give it a rest; but I think Rude Obi Wan is the shot in the arm the whole franchise needs. I mean, he's awful and we all feel very uncomfortable around him. But he's bloody memorable, that's for sure.
Saving my favorite moments here, don't mind me Relatable James 6:23 El Muerto legit leak 9:00 Bond woke casting 24:20 Morbius vs Sonic 1:08:35 This aged well 1:22:43 Stan Lee doesn't know what the Hulk's dick looks like 1:25:13 Rope pope cop 2:30:10 and 2:33:40 Let that sink in 2:41:09 Lick the plane!! 2:56:50
This is why I love RU-vid. If a TV show or movie franchise accidently created something like Little James, they would immediately market the hell out of it, and Little James would be in every episode. But here he gets one, then he's dead.
God the only reason why I wish this podcast had a much bigger following is solely because someone has to make that leaked El Muerto script into an animation, along with a lot of these bits. Though I guess you'd have to worry about SONY taking it down because of how accurate it will be.
About halfway through the second season, I realized that Pennyworth wasn’t a Downton Abbey spin-off. Had to start it over, once I realized it was a Batman property. Made more sense.
The window isn't the glass... its the hole that allows light into a building and allows you to see out, usually covered in glass. An opening in a pueblo is a window, even if it has no glass.
The way I see it, every pore in the body is a window and only things like mouths and eyelids are doors, and there are therefore more windows than doors
Mason's El Mueto story sounds honestly rather great. That's definitely the kind of thing a wrestler story would sound like. Starting off like 30 years ago when El Mueto's dad was king of the ring and Mueto wants to be a top wrestler and then some monsters kill his dad, Mueto then takes his dad's mask and goes to honor him by climbing through the ranks. Then, El Mueto goes against a champ that even his father couldn't beat. Who also turns out to be an enforcer of the mob that killed his dad, using the wrestling company to secretly recruit assassins using pro wrestlers. El Mueto finds out about this and takes it upon himself to not only avenge he father but take down the mob that corrupted the wrestling business. I'd watch the hell out of this movie!
It’s basically Blue Beetle, combined with Fighting With My Family and the not sad bits from the Wrestler, combined with the laser beam bit from Moon Knight, and finally combined with a little bit of The Mask
22:54 I couldn’t never be in charge of a movie studio, I believe I have some genuinely good ideas for projects but I would be constantly fighting with the voice in my head telling me to make something shit and stupid, imagine having the final say on endgame, the temptation to take everyone’s hype and expectations and just make it 3 hours of captain America looking at whales 😂😂😂
2:02:04 that’s literally what everyone has been saying to me lately because I’m pulling out old clothes that are still crisp and fresh 😂 “new swag?” And I’m like no this is old, my life just hasn’t given me a chance to wear it properly yet 😂
I'll tell ya one thing for free... if Weekly Planet ever stopped, I'd quit this job. Ain't no way I'm working here without these guys to get me through it...
21:00 Woke Bond immediately after Tom Holland's Little James Bond Boy made me imagine Tom Holland as the attack helicopter tuxedo man bumbling around an upscale bar just mowing down patrons in a very slapstick way while apologizing in that voice the whole time
