Sometimes I fall asleep watching RedLetterMedia only to wake up to Rich Evans laughing and thinking I´m being attacked by an Emu.

During the Manner's Who Needs Them segment played at the start where the pharaoh requests to know how grapes are properly eaten the child pulls out a scroll to check, the back of that scroll prominently features the words 'Ptah hotep'. Ptahhotep is an historical figure, he was a vizier in the 24th century BC serving the pharaoh Djedkare Isesi. He is noted for writing 'The Maxims of Ptahhotep' a list of general rules of conduct such as Speak only when you have something worth saying. If you spend all your time lusting after women you'll get nowhere. Don't gossip, people won't respect you and you'll wind up spreading untruths. Just because you've been taught does not mean you cannot learn from the untaught. Stay on the good side of the gods for they can make or break you. (And obviously eat grapes with your hands) Just a small thing, but a really weird piece of history to see in something like that.

Predator 2 was made in the wrong place, forget LA. Its should have been set in Milwaukee in 1997.

Used to work in a knife shop and can confirm the number of novelty knives hidden in things that do not require knives is hilariously high. I used to have a calculator knife exclusively for the purpose of saying I have a calculator knife. Sadly the item itself isn't very good at being either thing.

I love how wholesome it is when the guy's like "nah I ain't droppin' this knife, it's a Vietnam knife" and the cop is like "alright just place it down gently and it won't get scratched" and he's like "yah ok I can do that". And Miami says Milwaukee doesn't have class! Shows what they know!

1. The officer is bleeding out. 2. There's a man who is a threat, going to grab a knife if the officer doesn't keep him at bay. 3. If he loses consciousness from bloodloss then the man can stab him. 4. The other officers are in a race against the clock to find this downed officer. The suspense has so many moving pieces in that one scene, it's brilliantly layered.

My Dad's a cop and he's seen Edged Weapons! Says it's hidden away in the station's video library and is a legitimate training film. His eyes seriously lit up when I mentioned it.

Gentlemen, the "Surviving Edged Weapons" is an 8.4/10 movie on IMDB (www.imdb.com/title/tt3439314/) from Canada (!), which is the same as Sunset Blvd or Shining, and better than Citizen Kane or Clockwork Orange (both 8.3). I mean, I have just seen from POV the discovery of this hidden gem... I feel like seeing Jesus on the third day.

To this very day I still say "a tear rolled out of my eye and turned into a bald eagle and flew away" when I see or hear something overly patrioctic. Thank you for the life-long quirk, ass hacks.

My theory is that back in the day, when slot machines were governed by mechanical randomness, that guy made some successful videos that pointed out how to identify machines that paid out above the average For example, I once read that people would identify high-paying pachinko machines by extra wear in the payout tray from more coins impacting, or lots of cigarette butts from people playing a higher-paying machine for long periods of time. Once they switched to "computer chips" he made one last kick at the can with this video, and the only thing left to say was that the machines are truly random, but you do get a payout bonus if you put in multiple coins. Although I do have to give him some credit for not misleading people with false promises, or telling them that they can "beat the system".

for those interested. Clips of this video are even shown in police lecturers for the german police. The video is one of a kind and is probably used to train police in the dangers of knives all around the world. Knives are not taken very seriously by a lot of police officers. How crazy is that when you think about it and the video is from 1988!
