I like that Ben and Tom are uncomfortable with the large donations - it shows good character. Para-social relationships can be dangerous and there are without doubt struggling people who donate far more than they can afford to get a creator's attention. IMO platforms like Twitch should have donation limits. As much as I enjoy some twitch content, there are few better ways to waste your money than sending it to a streamer for the chance they read your message.
Yeah but what if they're eccentric medieval lord billionaire oil barons who throw out thousands like its pocket change, this is a very real and valid possibility.

This is perfect. I love Total War but never enjoyed the Warhammer ones because I'm a few generations too young to have played/known about it. Therefore I don't really watch the streams, so these kind of videos are amazing. Thanks!
You know the clip where the viewer called "Wathan" donates, and tom begins reading his donation with a mocking caricature-ish voice which reads, "Hi Tom and Ben, last time I donated, Tom made fun of my name...", and they both burst out laughing? I've been looking all over, but for the life of me, I can't find that clip.
Yes! I tried finding that in my vault of Yogs clips for this compilation but I couldn't find it :( I believe it's in one of my hour long monthly highlight videos though. Somewhere. Lol
Would you be able to dig out that analogous story they made about Warhammer being their pet dog? Someone's piece of writing included feeding berries to elven women for them to produce berry-flavoured milk. I believe Ben found this shining piece of literature and shared it with Tom.
It comes from a fanfic they read on stream. In this fanfic, female wood elves are captured and fed a diet of pure fruit. The Orks (or BeastMen, I cant remember) would then milk them like cows for their 'berrymilk' (fruit flavoured breast milk). It's an old meme so I might have forgotten a few details.
