The best thing is that Starkid claims, 100% legally, this is the most historically accurate musical about the trail. Mostly because no other musical to compare to exists
A yes the musical with the lobsters the watchers and the 1 million Dollar bill and a giant mountain that looks like a dick also the weird horny ox with the 4th wall breaks family name the dickrats The fathers name is jack power the mother is name slippery when wet And 2 gay bandits(prob real but still) That is definetly historical accurate musical
I want a *N E W* _quality_ wagon, with wheels that are _CIRCLES_ and no fancy upgrades like a Floor Window or a Horny Ox! I want a new wagon and I want it *F O R **_F R E E_*
My friend sent me this after rehearsal actually and it’s absolutely chaotic, they’re all teenagers and she’s the mother and has a crush on the dad and it’s all insane, plus we’re from Florida
I just watched this out of context, and I can confirm that it is terrifyingly intriguing. I am gonna go watch it now, although I am slightly nervous as of what the context could possibly be...
He like, auditions for McDoon and comes back in thirty seconds later with a fake mustache and a shitty falsetto voice: Joey: Hi, I’m...Chloe, and I’ll be auditioning for- Casting Director: I’m gonna stop you right there
Fun fact, it's actually supposed to be blood and not mud but Corey messed up on stage. Before I learned this I thought Jamie and Lauren were acting surprised like 'wtf grandpa why would you say that' but actually it's them going 'wait, mud? It's supposed to be blood shit what do we do' and they all just went along with it. One of the rare times a messed up lyric is funnier than the actual one in my opinion. Makes me think Titty Mitty is trying to fuck the ground while sleepwalking and that is hilarious to me. Props to them for being such good actors and going along with it
This truly is out of context for me, since this is one Starkid show I’ve never seen. That being said, Jeff’s terrifying crazy eyes are certainly familiar to me and I love it.
I honestly have no idea if Joey was supposed to miss that note in When the World’s at Stake reprise or not, because when it comes to Starkid really anything could be in their scripts, and if he wasn’t that was some of the best improv I’ve ever seen and just hilarious either way
Speaking of Joey, who else has seen that clip of him messing up the line before 'ox like me' so many times that you forgot there was an actual line there and then when it showed up you were confused?
Fun fact: as of the first time watching this video, I am yet to see the entirety of Trail to Oregan. After watching I have many questions with the main being, "What the hell did I just watch?!"
ive never heard of trail to oregon... and i have absolutely no clue how any of this could possibly connect with context😂 but i really want to see it now
I just imagine Ani is going and it’s the super emotional scene with Ani and Pappy and then there is just a dim noise, and everyone stops to listen, and it’s the faint sound of Jeff going crazy on the saxophone
I’ve never seen Trail to Organ, and I’m extremely stressed and happy at the same time. Edit: So I’ve now watched Trail to Oraagoon, and I’m addicted now.
