Because America's great again and Let him come are BOPS and you keep doing them dirty All content belongs to Team Starkid, you can watch the original show here: • The Guy Who Didn't Lik...
Not a line but during what do you want Paul while the boss is doing the keep you lusted and in the corner of the screen you can see Paul’s hand just like shaking and going WHQTNTHE HELL thats like my have part just the little hand in the corner
I always wondered why he was so sweaty at his first Hidgens scene and then I heard that video where he said he did the entirety of “Show me those hands” with the Hidgens costume on underneath and OOF
idk why this is an unpopular opinion but: jeff is so talented and a great actor and amazing singer and people keep calling him annoying which is dumb because he's so dedicated to his characters and is an awesome performer
YEEYEE YEEYEE the fact that he pulls off notes so high, yeah it’s a weak part of his range, but it’s good enough I feel like I have a similar range to Joey, and probably Jeff’s natural range, so maybe I just think it’s impressive to get that high
Tbh the most underrated vocal part (in my own opinion) is when Mariah/Zoey is singing without instrumental in the helicopter scene. It's just so quiet and powerful.
Did you hear the word What's the word? Hes a comin Who's a comin? *STEVES* A COMIN Edit: for those who didn'tknow, this is a reference to the bonus commentary for tgwdlm, where nick said that on the night of filming, Jeff forgot Paul's name during Let Him Come, so he just said "STEVES ACOMING" and nick had to edit it out XD
I love this list so much because I *love* America is Great Again and it deserves so much praise (also your comments during Show Me Your Hands is a freaking Mood)
absolutely my dude, while i was making this i realized what a bop it is?? the choreography, singing, those outfits (and robert in the background),, yes not gonna lie tho i'm also Very Gay for all of them so i might be a bit biased
My list: 14. you 13. Can't 12. Rank 11. Them 10. There 9.are 8. plenty 7.of 6.different 5. variations 4. to 3. these 2.lists 1. Corey's only individual singing line in the opening number
that ugly piece of trash u never liked mmmmmm show me your hands really does it for me, it should be higher for Jeff sexiness (and for being underrated imo). The deadpan but dramatically exasperated “step away from the vehicle part” is just so great.
Appreciation for any time Jaime or Mariah sing "Hey, Mr. Business, How do you do?". Seriously, they got some gorgeous voices. Jaime's "AND DIEEEEEE" also gets bonus points.
OwO? Whats this? Someone didn’t like Show Stoppin Number? You stupid fuck? What made you comment that inside a RU-vid comment section? You stupid fuck? UwU
y e s (okay, maybe they could've given him less songs and give a proper solo to my boy corey, but) jeff's songs are great and everyone keeps doing them so dirty
I think it's cause everyone spends all their time hating on Jeff's falsetto so they don't like the songs then. Like I understand not liking the falsetto but can this whole it's clearly not his range etc argument just kinda cease?
The first time I watched the show (and still now) America’s Great Again hit me so hard, like they went there and still gives me chills. The musicality and background just pair so nicely. It’s so underrated. Everyone seems to just brush it aside.
It hit me hard too. It's so great. I had been loving it before that and America's Great Again absolutely cemented my love for this. At first I wasn't sure it fit the show but after I thought about it... the whole show could be a metaphor for current events. Either way it's amazing
Those are definitely on the top of mine too. The acting just horrified me in the best possible way (being it was extremely good at freaking me the fuck out)
@@cadenerfvlogs2406 I don't really like it because Jeff uses his falsetto way to much, it just maskes his amazing voice (of course it's from starkid so I'm lowkey obligated to love it anyway), but to each their own I guess lol
I actually really really love What Do You Want Paul and I'm always a lil sad that's it so near last on everyone's lists lol Finally, a scrap of Validation
I just can’t with Jeff’s high note at the end... it kinda made me not want to listen to it again. Normally I love his falsetto but I feel like it was really reaching there
the way that he says “WHAT” when he’s asked to sing SENDS ME every time ajdsjhfjshcj also let him come slaps people just don’t like it cause it’s short
Robert Manion is an angel. He has the largest vocal range in history and it kills me. I’m a coloratura so our voices I think would harmonize perfectly. *cough* please never stop being perfect. Okay I’ll stop now.
America is Great Again is actually my favorite in the whole show! along with Cup of Poison Coffee both are such AMAZING emotional whiplash and just so genuinely creepy and powerful and shows off that this crew is far from a one trick comedy pony.
I love how Paul says "I didn't like that movie" like,,, he still goes see Disney movies even tho they're musicals of course he's gonna hate them. He doesn't have kids he just inflicts it upon himself
Finally I've found someone else!!! I can't get enough of that song! Was so shocked to find out it's ranked in the bottom 3 of pretty much every list ever!
Ok... I’ma be real with you. Here are some of my fav parts of this musical. -... HELLO. -black coffee, I’m your coffee gal- NOOOOOOO -Robert Manions hips. -Robert Manion... just how amazing his voice is. And how amazing he is. -Jon. Just- The ways he can use his voice. It’s- just NEVEEEERRRRRR -*ROBERT MANIONS HIPS* -EMMA. Just... Emma. -ROBERT -MANION’S -HIPS. - I just want my Daughter back... -How about a nice Carmel frappe? Nothing better! *nervous laugher* -And you were right about Deb, she’s a hard core *stoner* i kNEW IT -*THIS IS HUMANITES ELEVENTH HOUR* -Can’t prove it We’re the army -i hAVE A VERY LOW *BLOOD SUGAR* -*Lights down* -Then we’re going to *F***ING KICK YOUR A**** -*FIVE O’CLOCK CANT COME SOON ENOUGH*
When you first watch the beginning song of The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals you don't realize the implications of Emma being in the intro. But then after the end 😱
All the comments that I literally laughed and wheezed at: 0:17 0:27 1:13 (PrEaCh) 1:20 3:19 (i always laugh at that line) 4:06 4:49 5:55 (i actually screamed) 6:20 (no homo) 7:22 (same) 7:34 (same (no homo)) 7:51 (true tea sista) 8:34 8:41 8:59 (KAJSHFLKJASF) 10:02 (cant relate dont got any) 12:51 All the coments that made me cry from laughter: 9:40 My comments: 10:46-Im Mcdoon, and I make the girls, Mcswoon Thank You.
I love how moana is like the only song on TGWDLM that doesn't curse or have a dark theme Edit: I was wrong Bill's Lion king was 👌family👌friendly👌alternative👌content👌
Unpopular opinion: Show Stoppin' Number is probably one of my least favorite of the songs in the musical and the song is kinda overrated (Please don't kill me it's just my opinion)
@@milescox9467 I do like the song, but it's just not my style of music. My favorites were Not Your Seed and Let it Out because they had that sense of creepiness and fear as well as the bittersweet sadness as we see the characters' hearts being wrenched out of their chests or are on the brink of insanity. Idk if that makes me sound weird. Probably does. I just love songs with a creepy/dark factor to them. Show Stoppin Number is just too slow for me I guess. I will say that Robert Manion is really good though. TGWDLM is the second of Starkid's musicals I've seen, first being Twisted.
I get what you mean and this is 100% a safe space for all your unpopular opinions, so don't worry, but at the same time I have to say I absolutely love Show Stopping Number. Like I know where you're coming from and true it's maybe a bit overrated, but it just has that place in my heart. Like it really depends on what type of music you like, for sure, creepy dark songs are amazing, like Let It Out, Join us and die and America's great again (idk if that counts) are one of my faves, but I'm definitely a sucker for long, slow (or like idk, i didn't think ssn was that slow), dramatic af songs and also happy cheerful songs. Like mostly it's also about me liking the characters and just the general vibe, I'm no musical genius so I can't really judge it on much else, idk. Okay this comment is a mess, just wanted to say you're just fine for not liking it, a lot of ppl don't in fact, so thanks for sharing your opinions. What are your favourite songs from Twisted btw?
Mariah had to leave Black Friday because the power of her beign Robert's love interest would simply kill all the bisexuals in this fandom Mean Girls I dont know her
I just love how happy Robert is during roasted cup of coffee. He almost drinks at one point then is like wait Don't forget he's the one who tipped and sat down all smug
I’ve never seen America is great again and let him come so high up, and I’m so happy bc those two are literlly the most underrated songs on the soundtrack
America Is Great Again is the best political statement and no one can change my mind. - ‘our borders are closed’ - using ‘the final solution’ - the fact that Jeff Blim is brilliant
I think we need a completely separate musical featuring Alice and her girlfriend getting turned. Who turned first? was it really a terrifying mash as they broke down the door? were there romantic love ballads between the deb and alice? Some songs about peer pressure and the terrible cost it can have? Sure we know the ending and maybe a bit of the beginning but what else?
I always thought of “Let Him Come” as a transition more than a real song... Also I kind of want to hear the rest of Emma’s coffee song. It sounded good...
paul's "whaAAaaAaaAAAAAAAT" is so exaggerated that it makes it seem like he's been waiting for an excuse to sing the beginning of moana and is now trying to pretend like he's surprised
The bit in show me your hands about being extremely bi is the biggest mood. Jeff, Robert and Mariah. I have fallen in love with all of them as well as the entire star kid cast. I’m bi for every single one of them.
