My favorite part is the Art of Book of the show reveals their voices are Jackson and Doc doing their Megatron impressions. Which makes me laugh harder.
Watch and Ward regularly act like complete goofball and them being going pretty much unharmed for the entire show just shows how much of an important role they actually play in the Guild, if anyone else acted like a joke and they could easily be killed like the monarch's henchmen
I think their job would fit under "Customer/Public Relations and Master Of Ceremonies"and no one actually wants to do that job unless they really need the money.
Yeah and honestly for a two man job they're doing wonders even if they do like to fuck with their clients but they're also part of the guild so it's expected I think
The monarch screaming "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" truly shows he not only didn't see that coming but the fact that he realizes he had a new hatred for Jonas and a deeper understanding for Rusty

I like the line "Great, why did I even bother putting my initials on it?" Because since their names are Watch and Ward, Watch might actually have the same initials as him.
@@Juber777 It's awful... but yes. A few weeks back, the Venture Bros got cancelled. I'm still keeping my fingers extra crossed that they get a revival, especially with how the next season was looking to be one that had a fuckton of crazy revelations in store.

I love the bureaucracy bits and world building of this show. Like how opposed to the Guild’s massive corporate syndicate with gears turning every second, there are various hero groups that vary in characters ranging from actual superheroes to the standard boy venture group. Honestly, really cool how each group in the Venture Bros Universe intertwined and weaves with another group.
i mean a good show leave stray plot points mixed in so they can work them into the story later and it feels more natural and organic because the facts or lead up existed before that episode of course you need to look out for all the unused leads or else it your gonna leave to many unanswered questions a good show will close them if they end up going a new direction

@@Jaxvidstar Yeah, but you know they had a LOT more in store for us. Even if it's two and a half hours with every plot thread tightened into a beautiful grandma sweater, it still won't fell satisfying to me knowing we could've gotten so much more.
I disagree with the assertion that protagonist and antagonist are superior terms to good guy and bad guy. A protagonist is the one who is central to the story, their alignment doesn't factor in to it. An antagonist is the person who opposes the protagonist. It would be just as accurate to call the villain the protagonist, unless they DON'T see themselves as the main character in the story of their life... That's REALLY depressing if that's the case (and therefore likely accurate).
It has nothing to do with alignments It's based off of the serialization of TV shows like Johnny quest, GI Joe, and super hero shows that feature villain organizations such as the legion of Doom.
@@stonefree7973 I feel like everytime a villain protagonist is created, people end up sympathizing way too much with them. Mix that with the fact that different writers like to put their own unique spin on things, and it's kind of hard to have a comic series about someone who is consistently a "bad guy". The Punisher, Judge Dredd, and Deadpool come to mind.
Those terms probably come from The Treaty of Tolerance. And who was in charge of negotiating and signing this thing? Jonas Venture. A Protagonist. I bet a $100 he put that in as a clause to tickle his ego.

During the Guild video, they show the graph. What's surprising to me about the pie graph isn't how much the guild represents villainy but how little the Peril Partnership and Fraternity of Torment(which I think is the EU version like how P.P. is Canada's) do. As well as how many villains are actually unlicensed.
For real. There was a serious lack of Venture Bros. content on RU-vid for the longest time. Bittersweet to see many people finally checking it out after the cancellation announcement.
