He's always been known as the "Underrated dancer in BTS" since 2015 because people saw his dancing skills in DOPE era which gave him a chance to dance at the front!
I always look out for Yoongi's dancing. He gets way less credit than he deserves. And to think, every vid we just watched, he had that busted shoulder. I think butter era, and going forward, it's deffinately gonna be Yoongi's time to shine with the dance moves. It was heartbreaking to see him in pain during the Map of the Soul: One concert, even though he tried his best not to show it.
Yoongi is one of the best dancers after “the dance line”. He has crazy sense of rhythm, hits every beat when dancing and doesn’t look awkward dancing at all!
Suga has his own swag. Yes, he's doing great. he became the complete package producer, songwriter, rapper, singer and a great dancer. Yoongi is a genius indeed 💜

I love his facial expressions. Even though he didn’t really want to dance when he first joined, I’m glad to see him smile and enjoy it. Plus he has to stand next to Jhope a lot which has to be tough.
YES!! That’s what I find really striking; it can be hard for people to actually learn to control their facial expressions while they’re dancing. But he always nails it- along with the choreo!

I’m surprised they didn’t include the Run clip where he danced off against JHope to prove he could do it. Honestly, I think that since his shoulder surgery & pt, he’s probably going to surprise us and level up in his dance skills. At least I hope so. His energy when dancing is so different from the other members’ and it’s intriguing in the best way.

The thing I always notice with Yoongi dancing is his face. He shows so much emotions with it and you can see the fun he is having while going off even if it is exhausting. And did you notice he is always "singing" (mouthing) the lyrics while dancing? I think that is so cute. He is doing it all the time. I do the same while dancing. He actually has great footwork, it's really clean. Sometimes cleaner than Tae or even JK. I guess it's probably bcoz he use to b-boy before his shoulder injury.
Finally, someone commented on his footwork. I think he has the best footwork of all. He's very light and controlled, which makes his body control amazing to watch, not to mention his awesome facial expressions.
The fact that Suga didn't want to dance and even thought about leaving BTS and then danced with shoulder pain for like what 6 years?!?!? Just because he was afraid of hurting the group... Blows my fucking mind. What a man. I love them all but Suga.. He just hits home man. 💜💜💜
He's actually not always in the back , the formation changes from song to song , the dance line ( j-hope , jimin, jk , V ) are always in front , but Suga is not always in the back unlike jin and RM , the choreographer trust in Suga when it comes to dancing , after his surgery there's a chance that he'll get even better
Great Video. V called Suga one of the greatest dancers, - and I never thought Suga has been given credit to his dancing. Suga has the most dance expressions from head to toe and is as elegant as Jimin and his long legs are the best. Suga can change his looks with each hair change, each one ‘SWAG’. He is a genius: raps, dances, creates & produces music, wit, wisdom and so caring about BTS.

I don’t like how there’s sort of a seperation. Ik the maknaes are great dancers but so are the hyung line because it’s what they’re trained to do. It just seems like everyone’s always shocked when the hyung line does hard dances or smth even that’s literally their job
Thank you for doing a reaction video solely on Yoongi's dance moves. I agree with the other comments that he is underrated. Yoongi has that certain swag all his own which is very appealing, he may not have exceptional dancing skills but he can do those difficult moves with ease as if he didn't suffer from shoulder injury. Yoongi is a real trooper and very professional the fact that he admitted to BangPD when he got accepted that he doesn't dance but he still strived hard to learn all their choreos and made sure he is in-sync with the rest of the guys is just admirable.
Imagine Yoongi doing all these hard choreographies with an old injured shoulder which probably caused him constant pain. I bet he had to take painkillers orally/jabs before or after performances, concerts or in-between for the past 7 years or so. As we can see that most of the BTS choreographies had great shoulder movements. Even after the surgery, we can see him rubbing his shoulder at times. Hope that he has a full recovery and able to perform healthily. Same for the other members.
This is why I appreciate fan cans because you can analyze and see how all the members have a different dance style so when they do the dances it looks different and hits in other ways. Suga was known for being a b boy from Daegu as well as an underground rappers and producer . Just like RK was known for his underground rap and producing , Hobi for his underground dancing
suga is an amazing dancer, just that his surgery is always holding him back, like in black swan performance (i cant remember which but they were in black) and he couldn't do the chorus because it was too energetic and used too much shoulder movment
He was held back for a few years do to his shoulder injury. Now that's fixed and he is really good. In fact, Last concert in Busan he ATE that stage. They all did.
He is actually a really good dancer but his shoulder injury was always holding him back, I’m glad he finally got the surgery and is able to move more freely now💜💜💜💜

He's such a good dancer that when I first noticed it I was surprised I didn't hear more people talking about his dance. He's so not awkward at all and you can see he has fun and always does his best. I think one of the reasons why he is a really good dancer is because he's a producer, he understands beats and rithyms and what the song demands
the fact that he did all this with his injured shoulder yoongi has always been an exceptional dancer but he couldn't show his full potential because of his shoulder I'm soo happy for him rn since he's not in pain anymore

He’s such a precise dancer but he’s got a lot of swag that comes out so I think people see that as a lack of precision when that’s not the case at all. Plus he was doing all this with a messed up shoulder and still killing it. This is why I love fancams and dance practices, so you can focus on everyone and really see their style within the choreography.
What's impressive to me is he did all the choreography you see while in pain from a shoulder injury. He was hit by a car as a trainee during his part time job as a delivery person. During quarantine he finally had surgery to correct his shoulder injury. Thank God. It just goes to show his level of dedication and determination to suceed. It's funny to think that Bang PD told him he wouldn't have to dance (or sing) when he started putting the group together. Lol. Boy did he tell a fib. Thank God Yoongi stuck it out though. He was actually bboying before debut but unfortunately he got into an accident that left his shoulder injured before he got his surgery last year, he was taking therapies before but he was advised to get a surgery. Very thankful he's now back and dancing without worrying about his shoulder hurting 🥺

All of this years of dancing he endured his shoulder injury and he is still doing great despite of those, I am really glad he had the surgery last November. If he didn't have an injury he would be included in Dance line, he was once a b-boy.

Obviously, every member practice very hard to provide the best performance to their own ability and that's to be praised for :) Then My theory why he's always or most of the time at the back is that they have all the better one at the front hahahah (as for J-hope, Jimin, JK, V) and as there are only 7, it's quick math calculation, but they move spot quite often too so we can see them all shine :) 💜💜💜💜 I also notice Yoongi pretends he doesn't know how to sing with his nice voice, but actually each time he sings and not rap he actually killing it :) 💜💜💜💜💜

Yes he can dance. He was told when he was hired that he wouldn't have to dance. But he learned and is a great dancer. Yoongi is an introvert. He injured his Shoulder back in his trainee days and has been dancing for several years with this injury. He had surgery on it, the end of 2020 and was out of several of award show performances due to recovery. That is why if you watch 2020 MMA & 2020 MAMA Suga is missing, but out of respect for Suga the Other members leave his spot vacant.

i feel like if his shoulder wasn't busted/now that it's getting better, and if he really wanted to, he could be promoted to dance line, i shit you not.
Danceline get in the front , so someone like suga won't , but also be dance line is not easy that means that your standards are higher so the performance director expect more for you ( specially in the early days , now they tend to review each other specially jhope , the dance leader ). Suga can't have that pressure and those parts even tho when no one could do (something a dance line of standards should do ) , cuz the rest of the dance line need to do something else in that part , he still does it ( like lifting V in I'm fine choreo ). Suga wasn't into dancing , he was more worried of producing the music and ofc his accident. When bts were 5 , suga was suppose to be dance line( with jhope and jk center ) having bboying dance break ( they were suppose to do choreos like their senior group called glam ) but that was canceled after his accident. So they made sure to make jk a fully part of the dance line ( fully develop dancer ) and make jimin to debut with them. And with that they fully developed the iconic we are bulletproof pt2 dance break. And the rest of the 3 j dances ( choreos ). Later V was added into more keys dance choreos since he improved. Suga capability was up to his pain honesty , and bts still do easy choreo since his surgery , so let see what happens in the future.
I feel like he’ll loosen up more because of his surgery. I can see he’s so much more capable but his pain kept getting in the way causing his movements to be sharp. (I think to get the dance move over with his body makes sharper movements to lower the pain)

Istg I feel like no one looks at yoongi when he danced when he is actually soo good and has a good feel for Rythm I feel like. And when I look at him when he’s facing it’s just kinda different IDK I think bc you just kinda don’t expect him to dance like this.. even though I don’t know it any differently lmaoo
I have 2 left feet so I'd really have to practice hard to even get to Suga's level! After so many years of practice, they can all dance!!! 😭💜 It just comes naturally for some.
