I loved the part they seen each other "LATER" when Max was watching Kimi gearbox being dragged through start finish line on chequer flag for a podium finish :D
Arrogant? Confident? Choose your pick Verstappen fanboys and haters, but he needs to be more neat when overtaking Don`t forget that Verstappen invented auto scooter and ping pong in f1
I think Verstappen will one day be a great driver and he is already pretty damn good for his age but for now, it is clearly arrogance. I feel that he just doesn't have the experience to be a confident driver yet and in my opinion the collision with Vettel really shows that. He tried a bit too hard to keep up with Ricciardo and it just didn't pay off.
the way Hamilton and Alonso didn`t give any space while going through the corners are just art... you can take any racing line WHEN IN CORNERS and WHEN YOU ARE AHEAD so you can legally push the other car out you have to be clever by understanding the rules AND using that for your advantage but also have the ability to read other car`s moves those were the moves of 2 legends and congrats Ricciardo
Hamilton move was perfectly fine, he didn't push Verstappen out. Max wobbled on the marbles while trying to change direction into turn 8 and had to correct. On the other side Alonso with his move was a little naughty, I guess it was on the edge of penalty.
it should've gotten him a penalty... Still bitter about that move, and I fucking love Alonso but watching his overtakes from this race just makes me... feel a little on the fence about him now
If you mean forcing the other guy off the track, that's just what Alonso does. For the other angle, check the Best Onbards video of Spa-Belgium 2017. He did it there with Palmer.
Clearly none of you seem to understand when a driver is entitled to space. As much as I personally dislike the current tactic of ''push others off track to make an overtake'' it is not against the rules. Stewards have kept a consistent line and you people are now hoping they would start being inconsistent and penalizing this suddenly. If any of you actually want to understand instead of just bitching about it, read the short article about last years incident in Belgian GP with Alonso and Palmer: www.autosport.com/f1/news/131590/fia-explains-why-alonso-escaped-spa-penalty
PSN GT3 Club first of all, nobody mentioned why he's there. Sure he's a pay driver, but he also had just under a 50% win rate in his last F3 season. Nice try though
Well he was great off the line, he was bit lucky with further overtakes as he had some people in front of him fighting and pushing each other off so nothing spectacular but fair play to him. And yeah starting from P18 it is hard to lose too many positions so occasionally he will go forward
He was the driver last year to gain most places on opening laps, pretty sure it was 63 positions. He sure isn't anything special in quali but knows how to do lap 1.
PSN GT3 Club it's not always about points. Look at William car it's shit but still he mange to take some places and in first lap. It's not always about winning it's about racing never forget that 😊. If that was the case Fernando, Marcus etc should leave the sport long ago
Idk max is such a talented driver but it feels like he is angry like he has something to prove to someone that’s why he’s making so much mistakes, he needs to cool down his head, to be humble, we all know what he is capable of, he just needs patience
James James He drove beautifully last year but this year, it's like he's kinda lost the plot... Perhaps it's a mental battle and he feels under pressure or perhaps the car doesn't suit him will, he is talented but a few seasons in now, he shouldn't be making the mistakes he is
Max was asked after Melbourne whether he looked at the video footage of his spin. His curt, petulant reply was along the lines of 'I was there, in the car', as if that vantage point is a good enough place from which to witness and assess everything going on outside it. There are a couple of great examples here illustrating that, in the immediate aftermath of an incident, especially a collision, drivers invariably blame the other guy/s. The Hartley/Gasly smack is just one in a long line of 'racing incidents' where one guy thinks he's been undercut and the other thinks he's been turned in on. As for Max spooning Seb around, it didn't take him long to apologize to Seb after the race. But his _immediate_ reaction was, "He locked up and then just turned in very sharp." To be fair to Max, it was a half-hearted attempt at blame, because he had to have known it was on him. But finger-pointing seems almost Pavlovian. Hit Seb? Blame Seb!
Max:See you fucking later son Lap 43:Crashed with Vettel and Kimi passed him Kimi:Where is Max? Engineer:Kimi,Max had a collision with Vettel, you just passed him. Kimi: K A R M A
If the redbull car was more reliable he could have been at least a serious contender for the championship this few years He has speed and one of the most best overtaking skills ever in f1 rarely crashes
I think the best move of race was Hamilton bait on max @ 4:04 . Hamilton knew max doesn't want end up race with accident, like 1 week before, so even if there is little chance of getting contact, Max would avoid that, and Hamilton used that. Later, Max obviously pissed of that he lost place to Daniel, didn't care anymore and he stop being careful and crashed into Vettel..
narkar you cant purposely bait Verstappen and get away with it more often than not. Your theory on how he didn't care after he lost to Daniel is ridiculous because on lap 1 he was on target for P4 maybe P3. Even after Daniel overtook him he was still on target for P2 maybe P1 so it would make no sense he cared less than on lap 1. His accident with Vettel shows that baiting Verstappen will end up bad for you 8 out of 10 times. He will either overtake you and push you off the track taking racing line or he will crash into you. Once in a while you will get away with it.
Why he couldnt get away with it? He just could act as it wasnt bait. Max overreacted, Hamilton wouldnt touch him if he stayed in line, yet he decide to get out of track. It makes sense that he drove carelessly later coz Daniel overtook him, he did better in quali, he wants to better in race aswell, otherwise he is losing to his teammate.
narkar If Max stayed on that line he would have to slow down sufficiently. Lewis was on a normal racing line, he wasn't baiting Max, trust me in this kind of corner you don't want to bait someone like Verstappen and I'm sure Hamilton knows it very well. Lewis knew he had the racing line and that he can carry the speed into turn 8 where Max couldn't. Max didn't get out of shape there because he get scared by Lewis turning into him, he knew that Lewis will start turning there as it was natural racing line. He get out of shape because he was trying to carry as much speed as Lewis while transferring from left sweeper turn 7 into turn 8 being on the dirty part of the track. He was on marbles and as soon as he had to change direction he get wobble and had to correct to not crash out. Nothing to do with Lewis baiting him, I'm sure Lewis was sweating at that speed having unpredictable Max on his right and was praying to not have contact with him. But like I said Max had to expect Lewis to start turning there as this is the line through that section of corners and Lewis had it from the beginning. Max was just trying to complete the move that wasn't possible.
Brilliantly explained. Hamilton in his own fashion pushed him just like that.😂😂😂 on the other hand, Vettel wouldn’t do the same to anyone. Fun filled race with dick head Max😂😂
There are a few great racers whose F1 careers ended without the validation of a World Drivers' Championship. Whether Daniel will ever have the pleasure of joining that vaunted group, nobody knows. Regardless, his win in Shanghai will long be remembered as one of the greats.
I think Bottas leaving room for Ricardo was the smartest driving I’ve seen in a while. If he followed through with the block move he initiated it would have taken both of them out. Smart driving.
Gasly was right with what he said after crashing with Hartley. Hartley shouldve covered the inside line a little more, basically does a late 90 degree turn
Got to be honest while I was impressed Stroll made 6 positions on lap 1, he did get gifted all of them tbh he just happened to be the driver who gained them
Love this. Especially love the split screen action. However, with the split screen action how about indicating from which split screen or car we are hearing the audio. #JustAThought
Vettel closed Kimi very hard at the start. And Verstappen move was wrong and needs no words. 🙄 Great race for Ricciardo, grey day for Hamilton and good season start for Alonso finally.
DiGamer15 _YT As i wrote, Verstappen move was wrong and needs no words! I think he can be a great driver but he’s too aggresive sometimes. Max got to drive also with intelligence to win and gain respect.
I'm conflicted about Verstappen's attempt on Vettel. On one hand, Vettel wasn't wide enough. On the other hand, Verstappen didn't turn tight enough (He didn't even tough the inside kerb). Alonso, however, had REALLY tight turns on Vettel (He did hit the kerb).
When will you guys use the new microphone setup for your videos? The onboard videos from other sources already make use of it and it sounds AMAZING. Pls use it
Lance stroll fez linda largada, mas nas curvas ele movimenta muito o volante, em comparação aos outros pilotos , passa a impressão de insegurança ou falta de habilidade no guiar.... mas foi uma ótima largada !
