@BagginsTV A little more clarity on the regenerating aggro generation. The passive healing is NOT what gives people threat. There is some weird interaction with regenerating when pull out one of your weapons. I remember a while back XR did a test with this where he had someone pull aggro of a couple mobs in a dungeon and then he just started spamming abilities nearby with and without regenerating equipped. We noticed the abilities didn't do anything though. As soon as he put on regenerating and left his inventory, meaning he pulled his weapon out, the mobs all instantly switched to him. The same thing happens if you just swap weapons while wearing regenerating. It's still usable in PvE but you have to be extra careful of when you weapon swap while using it.
Endless Thirst is primarily an Arena option. But it is situational in contention with Ankh. Ankh is probably better for light equip using SH and Tumblers, while Ankh is probably better for non SH builds that don't care about potions, like self-healing builds.
When it come sto Vengense... It is clearly an artifact that are meant to be doing damage with. since 3/4 of the locked perks increases damage, or affects light/heavy attacks in one way or another... So I figured I'd just roll with the intend allreasy put there, and added Abroral attunement on mine, to boost the damage even further... Why not unending taw in ice gauntlet ? My plan is to put Refreshing Rupture on Lifetaker.... Lifetakers super ability does affect both weapons, so it is very good at being an offhand weapon, that you benefit from even when you use your main hand weapon... And following this philosophy.. essence rapture is one of the spells that are "active" even when you change weapon back to mainhand.. And if I want to shut down enemy healersd I would use Pestilence instead anyway
Health isn't a dead perk. It's still strong with SH stacking builds (min 3 SH). You would pair these with EA or EW for third perk. Health perk with any build running at least 100 CON is still pretty viable. Less than 100 CON and/or not SH builds probably would be better off with a conditioning perk like thrust or slash.
3:20 You are wrong about how Deep Freeze works. Your theory that you need the Ultimate Chill ability in order for your Ice Gauntlet abilities to activate Deep Freeze's artifact perk was also my first assumption but that is not how it works. Chilling End checks if the enemy you're hitting has any debuff that is tagged as either "root" or "freeze". The slows from Ice Storm and Ice Shower are already tagged as "freeze" so they will activate Chilling End even if you do not have Ultimate Chill selected. Ice Spikes and Wind Chill do not inherently apply a debuff so you will need Ultimate Chill for those abilities to enable Chilling End. However, if you are running something like an Ice Storm, Ice Shower, Entombed PvP build or an Ice Pylon, Ice Storm, Ice Shower PvE build there is absolutely no need to go for Ultimate Chill.
The Winged Shoes should really only be used (unironically) in your PVE resource gathering runs. That's it. So run it with a speed/haste perk. Make your gathering runs much more efficient
Thanks for the vid. For all these artifacts im really hearING that they are either crap or for pvp, granted pvp needs some love in NW. There seems to be only a few that i personally would like but thats me. I do like the fact that you have to work for them (or be lucky) and that you have to do certain things to get them to work. Now inky if we could solo que instead of spaming in chat.
Do you mean how do you get the artifacts? A quick google search will help you with that, or new world database. If you mean where do you get decent gear in general once you hit 65, then the quests in the new area and chest runs or out post rush give decent gear to get you going.
The artefacts are from all different places. A few are season pass rewards. Some are rare drops from bosses. Some are unique drops from mutation dungeons. Some are pvp track rewards. Gotta look up the specific item.
salty af bc I spent a good chunk of time watching the older video for this just last night... and ended up forgetting to add a perk on top of that so I got stuck with Invigorated lmao
@realname2787 stop being such a sheep and use common sense. Read what the artifact does and what it is about. Then look at what you can add to it that makes sense. Don’t blindly put things on when you don’t understand it. WOW please quit the game.
I upgraded the leather boots. I put lightning damage on for my bow build. I swear to bJesus i had all the quests finished for the boots. I went to the kiln, crafted the item and the quest was still there. I needed to upgrade another artifact but my quests said full and i deleted the boots arrifact quest, i thought it was just bugged since i was able to craft the item. I looked at my boots and the perk was gone, the quest reset of course, goodbye to my Dark matter and chromatic seals and the rest of the materials. I wanted to uninstall the game. I still haven't recovered or been able to upgrade anything. 🥴
All the perks of my artifact are reset when I abandon the quest to upgrade it thinking naively that I can just abandon it to make way for the 6th artifact (there is a cap of 5 artifact outstanding quests). This is so disappointing given the hard work to kill the boss to get those perks. I mean at least there should be a warning when we abandon the quest. But NO. No Fcuking warning at all. There are many other game dsigns in the game that are punitive to the players and this one just add to the arsenal to confirm the prevalent toxic mindset behind the design. I always wonder why players are so critical and sour about New World gameplay and now I know why. IT is not the gameplay that they are sour about but the subconscious lack of goodwill that has been eroded away by all these toxic game design they encountered along the way. All these small small 'punishment' erode all the goodwill and forment the subtle hatred for the game as it accumulate up with each 'suffering' the player incurred. The dev just killed their own game. Am I gonna go back to kill those boss again and relive the nightmare to get back those perks? NO. I am basically done with artifact. I am not gonna use them and I not gonna collect them. There will be no artifact in my game play from now on and It will not exist in my game world. The dev can take my artifact and shaft it up their A$$. I am done with artifact and I don't know when I will be done with this game. The dev has a talent in this aspect and I just await the next 'punishment' they will mete out. And when my tolerance threshold point is reached I will be done with this game. Thank you so much.
i will never see artifacts xD i hit 65, only made maybe 4 areas, had no moods to go futher than 120 hours with this so deleted char 😂way too much Eso copy xD
