We have gone through 3 replacements with our purple plush. It goes flat so easily and constantly has to be fluffed. The filling also clumps together. Save up for a harmony
I will own that Eli and Elm pillow some day, I just really love the loft of it and the curve. But I must say the COOP HOME is growing on me I love that its sleeps cool and so plush and lofty for me as a side sleeper. The Curve on the Eli and Elm is what makes it a front runner for me. I suffer from shoulder pain and I love a pillow with that curve it really makes a different.
I want that pillow too but I wish you could throw the whole pillow in the washing machine especially because you can’t put a regular pillow case over it
So I am really loving these side sleeper reviews - Thanks so much! So, I am leaning towards the Eli and Elm Organic cotton pillow. I am really loving the ergonomic design and the fact that the fill is adjustable so I can get as much loft as I like.
Coop Home Goods pillow is the best pillow out there for the cheap price, it could easily cost a lot more, its that good. I love shredded memory foam and the fact that you could adjust your loft and firmness by adding or taking out some feeling. Its also a big plus that you can actually machine wash the pillow. Purple Plush is also cheap but i prefer a memory foam or latex pillow, they are just so comfy. The Purple Harmony is a lot better
Here is my problem, I tend to flatten pillows in a very short time...usually less than a month..tried pillows you can refluff as well as pillows that claim to be unflattenable...is there a pillow that won't flatten
So nice having adjustable pillows now. I am a "down" pillow fan so I'm liking the Brooklinen pillow. The goose feathers on the outside and the filling in the core sounds super supportive. I also love the Eli & Elm pillow for its shape. Being able to have my shoulder free from laying on the pillow when I'm on my side would keep it from getting jammed up and pain setting in. I'm just wondering if it comes with its own special pillow case?..haha😯. It would take a very talented person with a sewing machine to match that pillows shape for a pillow case..lol. j/k😉 If I had to choose right now I'd get the Eli & Elm for the benifit of my shoulders.
my head is side, my lower shoulder is actually toward my back shoulder blade but my stomach and pelvis lay towards the mattress. fml my spine but I love it.
The Brooklinen seems like the one for me, I am a down pillow lover and just have not found another I like as much as down, but I'm sure there is one out there and maybe the Brookelinen is it.
Funny what you said about a rock. Years ago my mom made a pillow and it was hard. We made fun of it. Maybe I should do that now too. She took zippered case liner and put old towels or something
I have tried just about every pillow that’s out there and they all go flat I fluffed it up in the dryer but eventually it goes flat again. I am a side sleeper I got to the point were I have to put two pillows in one pillowcase so that it becomes firm but I find myself flipping the pillow over every other night just to get the firmness that I like. Could you please tell me what is the best FIRM PILLOW for me to buy. I like a hard-firm pillow that won’t sink. I was even thinking about putting a board between two pillows in a pillowcase just to keep them from sinking. Please Help. Thanks
I'm a side sleeper and I have severe neck and back pain I need a pillow that is soft but firm and will keep my neck aligned so that my neck and back won't hurt the next day. TIA.
medcline is not available in Europe. What alternative product do you recommend for obese side sleepers with GERD / Sleep apnea who suffer from shoulder and neck pain?
I'm seriously considering the Coop Home Goods. My current pillow is a solid memory foam pillow that isn't for sale any longer. I'm curious how this pillow feels. Is it smooth or lumpy? Also, the Avocado and Eli & Elm are worth considering.
My son and I have the coop pillows. I have a bad neck and it is the only one that’s worked for me. It’s nice that you can adjust it to your liking. It’s not lumpy or hard at all. It’s got good support and your head literally lays perfectly and comfortable with no effort or have to adjust( once you’ve go the filling to your liking). Best pillow I’ve ever purchased and we’ve tried a few. We purchased Buffy pillows recently and I only use the Buffy for hugging at night now .
I’ve been wanting to try the Coop Home Goods pillow but have had trouble deciding between the regular and the Eden. Since the regular was in this video I think I’ll try that since I’m a side sleeper! The Eli one with the curve in it looks interesting too. Thanks for the great review Mattress Clarity! Hoping to win a free mattress sometime! 😉
I do the same, I never sleep with my shoulder on my pillow? I never knew other people did I love the idea of the Eli and elm pillow but like the coop is machine washable
What do you have to say about getting a headache from a new pillow? Is it possible it could be perfect and you just need an adjustment.? Or is it possible you just need an adjustment lol 😂
I am thinking about getting two sets of your top 5! memory foam and a down option... do you prefer to have multiple types are if you pick a pillow perfect for you you only need one? I have always had two, but I am starting to think they were not for side sleepers and I have been stacking them for height. I've slept with two pillows my whole life so it is hard for me to give up one... also thinking that I might want different options, memory in winter and down in the summer? recommendation?
They have one on their website :) but it is $30 I want this pillow so badly but it’s $130 now/: and I wish I could throw the whole pillow in the washing machine
All of these high loft pillows are causing your neck to come out of neutral spine alignment. It's like holding your head to the side for 8 hours in the same pose. I am a massage therapist and instruct my clients that they actually do yoga in their sleep without realizing it and this can lead to chronic knots, misaligned spines and pain in general. They expect to be "fixed" in an hour when they've contributed thousands of hours to the same non-neutral positions during sleep. EVERY side sleeper should be using a slim firm pillow between their knees and ankles, a thicker pillow to bolster between their arms, have a 4" memory foam pad to allow their shoulders to sink in, and a moldable pillow with firm neck support, but which allows for proper depression so the head sinks into that neutral spine position. If you have chronic neck pain this formula would do WONDERS.
Tried Eli and Elm pillow and at first I loved it but then it started going flat and no matter how much I fluffed it didn’t last and also the pillow case can’t be washed. I don’t recommend this pillow 👎👎👎
@@thatoneuser..3358 Hi, So far I don't and Ive been trying for the past three years since I got sick. If you happen to come across any pillows you like please let me know. Thanks
None of the artificial foam fillings are biodegradable or eco-friendly for recycling are they? they're all made out of artificial man-made materials and kapok is not exactly all that friendly for recycling either from what I could find out I had boat flotation cushions made w it but they used to make all life jackets w it 2
