*BEST PIXAR FILM?* Finding Nemo (2003) FIRST TIME WATCHING MOVIE REACTION - What An Adventure! 

This actually is my favorite Pixar film. I think the ocean/water movements were amaaazing! The writing was great!

"Just keep swimming." Fun Fact: Pixar developed a very realistic look of the surface water, but had to make it look more fake so people wouldn't think it was real footage of the ocean surface. One Take Fact: Film makers were worried that comedian Ellen DeGeneres would not be able to perform the dramatic scene where Dory begs Marlin not to leave, so at the end of a day of recording other scenes, they asked her to record a trial reading of the scene, with the intention that she go home with a recording of it to work on her actual performance. DeGeneres agreed, but her trial reading was so heartfelt and emotional that (apart from a few small edits) this is what was used in the final cut of the film. Marine Biology Fact: In reality, clownfish are all born male but become female later in life. If you look closely at Coral, she is a little larger and her colors are faded next to Marlin. One of Finding Nemo's crew members, head shader Robin Cooper, took photos inside a dead, beached gray whale in order to portray the inside of the whale accurately. In addition, while whales' mouths and blowholes aren't connected, director Andrew Stanton had to "defy reality" in order to move the plot, as the other ways that Marlin and Dory could escape from the whale weren't appetizing.

Glenn McQueen was an animator who worked with Pixar. Finding Nemo was dedicated to him along with Cars’ Lightning McQueen being named after him.

I have an Autistic daughter who loves all things Disney/Pixar. We took her to see Finding Nemo when it first came out and we loved it. She still watches it til this day. She is 22.

They actually do have a Finding Nemo Ride , not only that but they also have a Finding Nemo Show with puppets where they have people controlling them and also this technological thing where you can talk to Crush(just all of them are phenomenal)

Yes, Nemo’s fin was hit by the rock therefore he was born with a disability. I can relate to Nemo with the A.D.D.(same thing with the A.D.H.D but without the hyperactivity part)

Wait..."I'm a natural blue" has a double meaning? What does that mean? "Finding Nemo" is a great movie. It's interesting how animated movies today rival live-action films in developing characters that we, as adults, can identify with and care so deeply about. This is much different than Disney's early animated film characters that primarily kids identified with and cared deeply about. Bambi's mother's death traumatized me but my parents weren't moved by it at all. It was a cartoon to them. Here, adults and kids are deeply moved by the tragedy at the beginning and deeply engaged in the Marlin's quest.
