We traveled from Texas to New York and tried Robertas because you recommended it. Honestly, it’s one of the things we most remember about our trip! You haven’t tried pizza unless you’ve tried the Bee Sting!!
I was lazy to cook dinner tonight. After watching this episode, had pizza delivered. Pizza so good. Need to go to New York again for a pizza tour. Keep it up Mike.
This place used to deliver to my APARTMENT! My favorites were either Margherita or a Soppresada and wild mushrooms! Another part I loved about Roberta's, was that they had two different craft rootbeers from around America every MONTH! I was SO blessed!
Previous month I was able to withdraw my first five figure income ever!!! I've been working for this provider on-line for 24 months now and I never been happier... They are paying me $95 per hour, and the most important thing regarding it is the fact I am not that tech-savvy, they just required standard knowledge about internet and elementary typing skill...Amazing thing about this gig is the more time I got for my kids. I am in a position to enjoy quality time with my relatives and buddies and look after my children and also going on vacation along with them very frequently. Don't skip this opportunity and try to respond quickly. Let me show you what I do... *stepforward84.com*
I mean I like buffalo sauce with pizza , especially the crust ....so I imagine the hot oil has to be pretty good. Never thought to ask for hot oil ; assumed all would be is olive oil or herbed/garlic olive oil. Lol did you end up trying it?
You need to do Staten Island. Denino's, Lee's Tavern and of course Joe and Pats. I know you love Rubirosa. Do you know it's a spin off of Joe and Pats? Go to the original if you want to be blown away.
I've always liked the way you talk about food it makes me want to eat the food even more. It is my dream to one day go to New York to try the amazing food thanks for showing me the Pizza.
I have made with a Colombian arepa, just as good with my imported Bud, LoL, facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=466941410486311&set=pb.100015113677548.-2207520000.1536796620.&type=3&theater
Must not watch Mike Chen after dinner ... must not watch Mike Chen after dinner ... Must. Not. Watch. Mike. Chen. After. Dinner. ... damn! Now I am hungry, AGAIN! 😒
Delicious looking pizzas! I'm curious though - where did the origin of calling a pizza, "pie", come from? We don't say it in the UK but I wish we did, I think it's really sweet!
I just love your videos! Best foodie youtube channel in the world 😀 Roberta’s is my personal favorite pizza spot in nyc - the bee sting is amazing with its heat, sweetness, creamy cheese and smoky crust. And they grow their tomatoes and herbs in the garden!!
I love Mike! I need more Japan videos 😭 They were amazing! I'm from Chile, you should come by the way and eat empanadas, porotos con riendas, humitas and so much moree! ✌🏿🇨🇱
you enjoy your food so much, it always makes me want whatever you are eating, like my mission for this weekend is to get delicious pizza and you ALWAYS make me want noodles!
When it comes to pizza, simplicity is best. And NYC is a definite place to go.....outside of Italy. That arugula pizza looked awesome. Yay for veggies!
Wow all the pizza's look fantastic in New York, I grew up with my relatives owning a few pizza stores and I used to think they were heaven, but those pizzas look fabulous, I would love to go to New York and experience some of those. Great video Mikey.
Omg this episode made me particularly hungry. I LOVE pepperoni pizza where they use those smaller spicy pepperonis... order extra pep and get mushrooms on there, some Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes... maybe dip in some ranch. Heaven..
Oh and love the hot oil, Mikey... gotta try that on some pizza myself sometimes. Love a good kick. What I was thinking of the other day: ghost pepper flakes. If you really want a spicy slice, put some ghost pepper flakes on there ;)
I HATE IT that you cannot get a actually quality pizza in Finland, theyre allways the same but with different cooks and low or lower costs in ingredients.. :(
ok we understand that you like spicy. ;) The first pizzeria made pizza a little too burnt. Burnt pizza is not good! A good pizza shouldn't be burnt underneath and not too far above. In America, do everything "big" and always abound with cheese. The second pizzeria, instead of making the "cheese pizza", I would define it as "cheese with a bit of pizza";) The other pizzerias reflected a little more the Italian tradition. They were a little more alike. But they cannot be defined as 100% Neapolitan style pizzas. They still looked good. Even if I don't know how you could taste the flavors with all that spicy oil that asphalted your tongue! Still very interesting video! You are very good!
And here I am pausing the video midway to make a pepperoni pizza quesadilla with my leftover sauce. I miss New York soo much! There was this one pizza spot (name I can't remember) in Manhattan that was bomb! There was nothing but lounges and other restaurants on that street, and I use to go there after I finish partying right across the st lol before I headed back home to Jersey. Young memories...anyway I know where to go when I visit again..straight to Brooklyn! Great video as always Mike! Much love
Hey Awesome Mike! Super Love your show ☺️☺️☺️ Stay as Awesome as you already are 😊 Btw..looking forward for your shirt design every time...sooo Nice and Fun.. hope to have one..😍
I've been using honey for years on my Pizzas. Also can mix with olive oil into flour. For a sweet crust. I use it many ways. Above sauce dtissal. Or above cheese with Peppers or Hot Chilipatins with drizzle Tapatito sauce.
I absolutely love Pizza, specially spicy pizza (I'm a hot sauce guy, I literally put hot sauce on almost everything I eat, "Life's too short for bland food"). That Jalapeno pizza at Roberto's looked Fabulous. Living near Louisville Ky. the corporate headquarters for both Pizza Hut and Papa John's there's plenty of pizza's to choose from but it's those Mom and Pop places where you often find the best Pizzas. Man this video made me hungry.
mikey!!! i just uploaded a FRIED nyc pizza vid from forcellas! it was so good!!! can't go wrong with roberta's though :D never tried the others, but looking forward to it!!
He said he just found out about this place (Roberta's) then at 2:32 he says "that's what I really fell in love with the last time I was here". Makes it worse at 5:56 when he says "can't believe I've never ate here before".
I think he said at the beginning that he had been there once a few weeks ago, when someone recommended the place to him and that this was his second time there.
