Amen to that brother! Location is #1 rule in real estate for a reason. And since the beginning of time there has always been someone that is screaming the loudest that the sky is falling. Now, I don’t disagree that the sky is falling, but what do we do with that information? People will continue to move, people will continue to have children, people will continue to die. All of these events result in someone selling a property and someone having the need to buy it, and ai isn’t replacing the amount of highly skilled professional service that it requires to get things done. Your personal misery does not apply to “everyone” in times of peace and in times of war, since the beginning of time and until the end - people need a roof over their heads. If there’s a need, there is a way to make it happen. It sounds like you are speaking from experience and if so, I’m so sorry to hear that. I would say regardless of what you do, the amount of value that you bring is what insures your job security tomorrow. Your warehouse job is likely also on the line, robotics and ai will replace a lot of manual labor jobs much faster than it will have any impact on positions that require thinking outside the box. Absolutely nothing in this world is secure, especially careers that provide financial freedom. Ultimately there are two things that anyone can do: 1. Just give up, put your head in the sand, and only pull it out long enough to sh!t post on the internet and spread your negative nonsense, otherwise do nothing about your miserable life. 2. Or you can value every client as if it’s your last client, show up every day and make a difference. Realize that there’s no such a thing as “easy money”, always go above and beyond and leave no stone unturned. The last few years in the real estate industry (average failure rate 87%) have proven to be tough for a lot of people. A lot of agents went back to their ward house jobs or whatever else it may be. We’ve worked harder than we ever have and have doubled our business for the last 3 consecutive years, 2024 so far is on pace to double our business yet again. We have been blessed with amazing people that continue to put their trust in us, people who value what we bring to the table and continue to do business with us and refer their friends and family to us. If anybody tells you that this is impossible, they may be right. Only 10% of everything that happens is your circumstance, 90% is how you react. So get off your ass and work harder. Get some help for whatever is causing these random outbursts of negativity to complete strangers on the internet. My guess is that your life right now is not in perfect place, it’s ok. No one is coming to save you, work harder. Despite what any negative Karen tells you on the internet, despite your own limiting beliefs, everything you ever wanted is on the other side of hard work. No matter what you do - always bring value.
