Great video John. As you know, I use whatnot and also eBay. What I like about eBay, is that they include the custom cost. So when I pick up the package, everything is paid for and I avoid the extra custom fee, they take for opening the package. Mecari does not ship international, but we have something like it here in Norway. Thanks for an informative video. 😃

@@Slapshotpops Yea, in Norway we have to pay 25% custom of the total value including the shipping charge. On top of that the custom office take a $15 handling fee. So collecting from Norway is expencive. But good news, just learned that Funko Europe will finally ship to Norway. Still 25% custom + the fee, but at least the package will arrive sooner than from the US or Australia. 👍🏼😃
I buy from my local stores a lot. I also have used mercari and Facebook market place. But whatnot is the only place I've found to be able to purchase sodas from as you know, or on the funko shop. No one around here likes to sell sodas. Another great informational video as always
Sodas are tough to find in the wild for sure. Supporting local business is always a great thing to do though and I'm sure more stores will start selling sodas in the future as they continue to get more popular. Thanks for watching Sheila 😀
We wish we did have more comic book or local stores anywhere nearby!! Pretty much we have to travel about 2 hours away before we get anywhere that actually sells a decent amount of Pops and/or Sodas. That’s why I do use all those other platforms to gets lots of the pops in our collections!!!

Hell yeah keep the videos coming that was very awesome to know and I have been doing really well lately after my surgery still hurting here and there and I’m picking up pops here in there I hope you and your wife is doing better
I buy my funko pops mostly on online like ebay..but never on mecari since I've heard about fake sellers there..but as much as possible I try buying my funko pops in store..
the one small business store i go to often is poppin' off toys, wes and histeam are awesome, and I have gotten some cool pops from him. like the NON BOBBLEHEAD K. Jonah Jameson!!! lol great vid as always, keep up the excellent work!!!!!
My local Funko Pop's shop when I started told me buy what you like and enjoy you don't have to be a competition if you don't want to I kinda broke that one oh well I'm happy 😁
I do think there is a gap in the uk for places like this, I find it tricky to find auctions in the UK on whatnot, I haven’t tried mercari yet so I don’t know, so eBay is my option I’m just always scared to buy, but I’m always listening for the helpful tips. Thanks John
I always thought mercari was americas Version of eBay 🤦🏻♀️ I’ve picked up some good deals on eBay, not sure I’d ever buy a grail from there though just incase it was a fake etc
Mercari also let's you use a coupon and im not sure how you gain a coupon but i bought a glow chase Jason vorhees for $450 and the guy was selling it for $600 mint.
Yes! They run promotions occasionally and offer coupons on various items. We’ve taken advantage of a few of them as well. Congrats on getting that Jason!
I hope this is not excepted as negitive or hate against any seller or group or platform becuase this is far from it i just would like to comment that there have been negitive things reported about whatnot in the collecters community regarding streamers behaviour shipping times purchace prices and i think its very important to adress both negitive and postive aspects of every selling platorm that maybe be encouraged to other viewers or collecters thankyou so much for your time many thanks for everything postive you do for funko collecters i have purchased from you myself on the whatnot platform
It's Okay I got my refund back for both but one guy literally lied to me through his teeth saying his was real when it wasn't. Friend collectors for the win

List is feasable I can start to look around at various Comic book stores and know of Funko Shop that Gets all the Exclusive here called Northshore Pop Culture Collectibles Do favor Marvel have some DC also big with golden age of Comics characters as well Green Hornet and Kato Cartoon or Reg Animation Characters like G.I. Joe and Pokemon classic Hanna-Barbara and several others
