I started collecting about 8 months ago and it started really really small and wanted it to stay that way. I now have 160. That's not even the only thing I collect. I have 350 Barbies. I also collect Starbucks tumblers and tokidoki. And I just ordered my first super janky...

My collection only consists on All Might (Weakened) at the moment. I'm definitely not collecting for value. I want to collect ones that either look cool or I just love the character.

Skittle, I started collecting pops February 2018, when I purchased a Stormtrooper at a store closing record place for $4.00. I looked at it, and that got me hooked in collecting Funko. I was buying everything in sight. On several occasions, I purchased the same pops by accident, like the Beast, Daniel Larusso Cobra Kai, and Billy Idol. It gets crazy. I now have about 250 pops. I now pace myself, due to lack of space and it being very costly. I buy maybe two to three pops a month. I collect Marvel(mainly Spider-Man), DC(mainly Batman and the Joker) Star Wars, rock icons, certain TV shows and movies( that I like)and ad icons.

I’ve noticed that lately your subscribers are increasing and I’m so happy for you. Lately your content is more interesting compared before and Im really enjoying watching your videos. Keep up the good work and I hope you also explore reviewing other collectibles not only Funko.

My husband and I are not collectors, but we have gotten a few over the years from our favorite fandoms. We don’t keep them mint or save the boxes, though I have for a few special ones. I have subscribed and appreciate your content!

The budget and pace yourself point is good. I already suffered from it lol I bought my first pop and in less than a month I ended up spending almost 1000 dollars buying a bunch more

I'm a new funko pop collector and this really helps me a lot! Especially the tip that says to budget and pace myself. I will now save few bucks then once I have enough that's the time I will buy it. This video is so helpful!!! I got my first two on my birthday in 2019 and then I got a few more later on but I didn’t start trying to collect them until the end of March this year and I only have 8 (and one more coming soon) but I’m trying to grow my collection!!

I’d also start off maybe buying your favorite character(my first PoP was actually a Captain America I bought for one of my high school teachers but she wasn’t there the day I was going to give it to her so I kept it)one of my favorite PoPs is the Frost Giant Loki because I love Loki,so my advice is maybe start with your favorite character from whatever fandom and work up from there.

My collection actually started with a Suicide Squad Killer Croc Funko my uncle bought me and I've been steadily collecting more ever since. It's cheaper than collecting statues or action figures.

At the local mall here, both Hyptontized Hobbies and this new large Funko Pop Collection store, got a whole bunch of Funko Pop there! I just started collecting Disney Stitch, Pluto, Garfield, and some Pokemon Funko Pop already, now it's growing on it own my collection

i started really collecting last summer, I use to buy funko pops when I was younger and I first bought Ryu and didn't even know what funko pops were I just happen to walk into gamestop and saw something I recognized. then I stopped and got into legos for like a couple of years then I watched MHA & Attack on Titan. I wondered if they were made into pops so i went on ebay and the first pop i got was Deku gitd, then I i found out there were all kinds and it took off from there learning about exclusive, stickers, and retailers😄

What happens is as an adult you start out saying they look dumb and what would you do with them anyway, what a waste of money. Then you see one that means something to you. Maybe it’s your favorite character or it’s from a movie you have fond memories of. There may be a bit of nostalgia or laughter. It makes you smile. So you buy it. Then you start wondering if they make others that resonate with you, and before you know it you’re going to local comic cons looking for that particular one and deciding which ones to choose from your limited budget.

Ive been collecting for 3 months and already have 110+ pops

I got into collecting Funko Pop’s after watching “Across the Spider Verse”. The wave is one of the best & Spider-Man is my favorite Marvel character of all. I basically get Spider-Man related, mainly LEGO. But recently Funko caught my attention

For shelving, search "muscle rack" at Walmart. They are very adjustable and the best part, No sides! You can see the sides of your pops and any behind another

Before I got somewhat serious I was collect Marvel Funkos while the movies were out but I was only collecting MCU ones. Probably about 1 week ago something flipped after seeing that a bakugou was coming out and I found your channel, joined the discord and I’ve collected pops people want right now. Now I realize that I’m just getting what I like instead of what the general audience want like that Rock Lee. Trying to finish the My Hero instead and about to sell or trade that Rock Lee and other pops. 😂

I have failed at putting a budget, sometimes I just lose control and end up spending all my money on Funkos, but there've been times I've had to cancel orders 'cause I realized it's too much, so far I have 65 funkos in my collection and some 30 on pre orders so maybe I'll make it to end of the year with around 100... I recently started collecting and I mainly have Harry Potter ones. My most expensive one is a Sirius Black chase edition. I have all of the first 7 Harry Potter pops, the Voldemort with nagini, flocked fawkes, some random anime ones (some naruto, ichigo from bleach, ryuk from death note, and a bunch of avatar the last air bender) right now I’m saving up for the aang on air scooter because it looks so cool. Also, I have the glow in the dark “I am iron man” snap from endgame.

Ordered my SDCC Bakugo and it got delivered I was so excited until I realized it wasn’t delivered and/or stolen so now I just wanna cry.

I just started on xmas and one month laters I'm at 50 dragon ball z and 15 of the office and 20 south park and a few lebron james... Your right it's addicting...

I’ve been collecting since mid March, love one piece so I’m collecting one piece pops, I’ve got about 25-27 pops, got a couple 6 inch variants, the most I spent was on caeser clown, I spent $200AUD on a preorder, I live in Australia, so I can’t make it to most conventions where exclusive pops are, and I’m on a really tight budget every fortnight, I’ve only got $622 after everything else, so I find it easy to just buy a few, maybe five or six every month works for me

Will a black light UV LED light strip fade pop boxes? I want to create a glow showcase but I’m hesitant because I don’t want to fade my pops or boxes. Thank you

I definitely agree that collecting funko pops is addictive I remember when the original King Micky from Kingdom Hearts was released I told myself that would be the only pop I would buy and now I have more it's not much right now but in totally I have 9 pops and plan to buy more

True, just know what you want to collect 😍. For 4 years I've been collecting but I only got 74 funkos because its a struggle to buy one in my country. I sometimes bought second hand from any other collectors. Its legit like the group Funko Funatic.

Dumb question: if collecting for in box or possible resale, if a pop comes with plastic wrap but has a hard plastic protective case (ie the art series) would u recommend keeping the plastic wrap on, or does that really matter?

Answer: buy things you like with stickers, buy things you like that glow in the dark, if you like wearing shirts 👉 buy the t-bundles lol Buy what you like is an important detail i think people may actually forget, especially if they collect for value
