Best places to go in L.A Grand central market,Santee Alley,Downtown la,movie locations 

I miss the old downtown LA Broadway, the arcade. The movie theaters three movies for five dollars I miss the 80s

Well I say thank you Mr GiV for deciding to take a stroll in downtown LA. Remember you’re the eyes and ears of your RU-vid audience and I certainly enjoy watching your down to earth; unbiased perspective through your videos.

So many shows and clubs in those theatres, through layers of time, like pictures in a book to someone that shines. We Love LA!

Before the music center was built that area was called Bunker hill. Built in the 1880s there were mansions being built on top of a hill then they built angels flight to take people can go up and down bunker hill By 1920s it was beggining to get the rundown look and homes became apt rooms. You can see lots of film noir on bunker hill Avenue. By 1960 they flattened all the hills and cleared mansions but left angels flight and built the music center. There are mansions in west Adams area that were built before beverly hills and hancock park

This brought back memories of going to those theaters to watch movies with my parents when I was younger. Thanks G.I.V.!

On the other side of the Grand Central Market, across the street, is the Bradbury Building. A classic old building that was used to film 8 different movies.

Such a wonderful trip through LA it was so nice to see the retro style buildings also I love Grand Central it is so cool inside and one thing I like is the fact that if someone wants something to eat that can sit at a counter right where they prepare the food and I think that would e fun to do and if you decided to do a whole video on Grand Central that would be amazing now I must say it was nice to see Angel Flight working because the last time I was there it wasn’t working also i remember when Angel Flight was for many years and they had to do a lot of work on it and when they finally reopened it my mom went to the grand reopening and rode it and for her it brought back lots of memories so thanks for showing it also I was wondering if you would be interested in making a video of the original Farmers Market in LA I thank that video would be a hit anyways thanks for a great trip on a wonderful day now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you GIV and I’ll see you on the next awesome GIV adventure peace ☮️ out ✌️

Wow the apple store is fabulous, what theatre was that? Some beautiful old buildings in LA, a lot of history there. Just like Broadway in New York it's full of theatres.

I loved this episide! I am getting ready to move to LA. I plan to visit your shop on the boardwalk when we get there. I would love to get a closer look at the Grand LA in Bunker Hill. The Gehry building. It's where we hope to live and can't find much information about it anywhere. They always show the Conrad hotel but The Grand is connected to the hotel. There is art and shopping there and restaurants. Would love to see you do this video of downtown. 👍

Thank you for taking me down memory lane to the Central Market! I remember going there as a child of 4-5 years of age with my parents. My dad would get a couple of drinks at the bar while my sister and I would enjoy the best butterfly jumbo shrimp with fries served in a red basket. I also remember holding my mom's hand tightly as we squeezed our way through the farmers' market. I was so short at the time. All I could see were the shopping bags hitting my face. If I looked up, I could see the produce man handing over whatever produce my mom had purchased. During the weekdays, we would have lunch afterwards at Clifton's Cafeteria! Aww, what sweet memories! 💕

As a 14 year old I lived for a year in Germany. I saw your video of your home town and what I noticed was how broken it was. Graffiti, rubbish , homeless. Now I lived there in the 1980s. Everything was perfect. It is so sad how broken your town now looks. I am curious how many other German towns and cities look the same . I was actually quite shocked. I live in Australia.

I had a pair of jeans like the ones in your video, one of my Grandpa’s bulls chased me out of the pasture through the thorn bushes and a barbwire fence. LOL 😂
