L.A. Art Show 2024 is my Art good enough for the L.A. Art Show 2024 

I didn't expect to spend my Saturday afternoon at the LA Art Show. Thank you GIV

This is the stuff people go crazy for Mike! You are taking hundreds of thousands of folks with you when you explore these shows, special events and festivals. Most of us will never get to see any of this because of where we live and not having the means to get there. Bringing us along is a whole lot more work for you but it is very much appreciated!

The GIV has always colored outside of the lines. He's one of a kind. TY for taking us along for both art exhibits.

See and be seen, your art is every bit as original as what you show, technology has new impact on art, new tools, ideas, thanks for the show.

Coming from an artsy family, we were told years ago “there are no rules in art’’ and how true that is! And hell yes, - you could definitely show your stuff in a gallery to be sold! You are an artist.

You've made some amazing pieces over the years. Thank you for taking us on a beautiful journey.

Hey! 70 year old guy here again! I love your video, top down it is excellent. I don't know if I told you last time, that I am also an Artist. I began young, maybe when I was 14, I always tried to get in local exhibits in my home town. I made a marker drawing when I was 14 , it was featured in my home town news paper, and I even won an award. Then, through out my high school years, I always submitted my work to our local museum, which held an annual "open call" for all (new) artists, called the Spring Exhibit. It was a juried show, and professional artists & scholars were paid to select who got into it. I was competing with the entire state of Ohio. I never made the cut. But I always entered each year, for the experience. I met the many artists, and got to hang around with the (other losers). The rejects gallery was filled with hundreds of great pieces of original art. The jurors have to view many hundreds of pieces of art and narrow it down to about 400 pieces. Everything: paintings, collage, photos, sculptures. Every medium is represented. Clay, metal, plastics, wood. Oil paints, acrylics, water colors. When I went to college to earn my BFA (Art) degree, I was awarded an Art scholarship, that paid for all my classes for 3 out of the 4 years. Later I earned my MFA (art degree), and I won a "teaching position" award. Granted the opportunity to teach and get paid money too. I always submitted my work for art competitions, and I was successful getting them. There were awards, and grants that came later. I like your Art too! Each of the pieces I saw, are exactly the kinds of imagery and collage I like. My friends always told me I should have moved to LA or Chicago, to make my art career. That the kind of art I was producing would have been well received. I did pretty well in Ohio, and within the Midwest.

As an artist, I get inspired by everyone else, and it's ok to copy and change it to make it yourself. Humans, that's what they do. They copy each other; they eat the same things. When you go eat at McDonald's, aren't you coping the last person who ate there? Another example: when you buy your new iPhone, aren't you copying the other person who purchased the same phone? In the Renaissance, everyone inspires everyone else, and that's how you grow!

There are tons of photos of Bowie smoking dating back to the 1960s. 🎥I worked a red carpet movie premiere in Hollywood🎞years ago and was so excited when I saw David Bowie and Iman sitting in the theatre, they were two of my favorite people!🎆I wish I would have known you back in the day, I would have invited you to the red carpet premieres I was working.

The issue with graffiti is not the artwork, it is the use of private property without permission. Just because you have a spray can doesn’t mean you can decide the fate of another’s property. That is called vandalism, which is a crime, therefore the self proclaimed artist a criminal. Pretty simple…
