I'm the type that likes to have a minimum of modern conveniences (electricity, running water, ect), and I prefer a more isolated area, I grew up in county side and my closest neighbor was 6 miles away by a gravel and dirt road. I live in the countryside (USA) now, and the closest town (population 3000) is about 12 miles away. I have no interest in living in a city or even a small town. I would like to see your thoughts on places that would be good for a simpler life for people like me.
