I really didn't understand the appeal of the Safari-style cars but seeing how happy it made you guys and how fun it looks to drive I guess you changed my mind.
@harrismi7 there enthusiastic helps sell the car. My favourite is when you buy a car than they review it and they’re more amazed than the owner. it makes you nice the baby in the drive way even more. Like how every car has its own classic motorweek review regardless of the year . They should each have their own straightpipes review too for it be a future classic
I've been saying this for a while, but there needs to be more rally inspired cars like this. Like car manufacturers go nutty making off road trims that get driven to Costco, why not something inspired by mixed surface rally that can conquer both terrains?
Never in my life have I cared for off-roading, but for some reason, I feel like for whatever reason if I was gonna go off-roading, THIS and the Sterrato are the only options for me 😂
Yuri's "Best job ever" with the air punches was pretty adorable. These off-road supercars (this and the Lambo) really make car reviewers giddy. And who can blame them.
I think it appears to sell well because its enthusiast appeal, but enthusiasts are the minority. I think it would not get the sale numbers of their more practical SUVs. And not as much as the faster on road 911s
Ok this has got to be one of most fun videos I’ve ever seen. I was smiling the whole video from start to finish. You dudes made this car extremely exciting. Got me building one online right now and crying because so far it’s $237,000. I need one in my life now! Come on lottery!!!
I really like this type of sport or super cars like the Huracan Sterrato being a off-road edition of a super car, i would love to have a lot of fun with this!
Best camo for this Porsche 911 Dakarr would be a "Red 58". For powerful and beautiful red Porsche 911. Specially build for "Dakar" type rally race for 1968 edition London - Sydney. Rally when team from Poland Sobiesław Zasada (driver) and Marek Wachowski (pilot) get 4 place in total score, but they have almost all special stages in first. In just Australia part it was 5,6 thousand km trip from Perth to Sydney (for perspective) and it was in 1968. Amazing peace of rally history in modern version. I wish I could have cash to have one of this. It be great if they make more lift 911 like cross country edition or something with regular price. I'm glad you have chance to drive all amazing machines so far. Best wishes. Greetings from Poland
Not even a minute in and this car has you two smiling and laughing your asses off. I’m gonna finish the video but I already know it’s gonna be a banger
Absolutely love this car. From a cynical view, this is just Porsche cashing in on a popular aftermarket trend. But I don't care. They might as well. I would daily the crap out of this thing, especially in winter. But sadly these will mostly be garage queens.
@@damienlee1165 Agreed, if they make a LOT more of them. 2,500 is just so they can keep the prices outrageously high. (And for the record, the Macan Turbo is a blast.)
For the 992 generation the Turbo S is incredible. It has incredible acceleration and handling. The Turbo S would give the GT3 a hard time even on a tight racetrack.
So many cars are made that so few can actually buy. Even more are priced now that are just too far out of reach for the average buyer. Maybe Honda should make an off-road version of the Civic with the R-motor in it and a raised suspension. The masses would rejoice. Try to keep it under 45k if at all possible, give it some special colors like the newMazda CX-50 has. It would be a great marketing tool for their under-whelming off-road reputation and could help the sales of some of their SUVs that lack in true all terrain performance. SH-AWD might get the respect it deserves or at least begin to earn it.
