I have an engagement shoot coming up so I have been looking for tips and inspiration. I saw the 1-1-Six tattoo and realized you were a believer. So, I had to gone subscribe!
Nice job on the posing video. One suggestion from a video production standpoint, lose the music bed. The idea of a music bed is to add entertainment value, and when you do so you cause a distraction in the brain of the viewer. it may seem like a small thing, but it doesn't take much for your words to be less effective. There is no need to add "entertainment value" here, because what you are doing, between the narration and the images, is entertaining enough.
Please more videos!!! would love to see more videos of how you use natural light in your advantage. Why place subject here not there. Where to properly place your subject vs light source in different conditions like "cloudy / sunset / early mornings..etc" How to take good pictures 90 minutes before sunset...etc. I think understanding light is crucial and its a make or break thing in photography. Would love to see how you handle all of this. -how to get good colors in camera every time ? -placement of speed light in dark venues.
Hey! It is a re-upload and broken down into a top 5 form so its easier to digest. I also took the other 4 videos and made a course out of them that include templates, questionnaires, me editing the session and creating slideshows. Don't worry, I will still put out a ton of free content! Just wanted to add another course packaged together with some amazing value with other things in it!
Thank you for this great video!!! Shooting my first engagement session today (I mainly do seniors!) and had no idea how to pose my clients, but now I'm feeling more equipped for my session tonight! Thanks!!
Jose Atencia thanks for that feedback. I’m very familiar with him. I’ve taken his workshop and he is extremely talented and def knows his stuff. He has a very different style and it’s pretty subjective. Thanks for your feedback though! I hope it was a little helpful for you!
I watched the complete video as I thought it was interesting enough. I like the way you work with people and the ideas you have. However, chewing gum is unsightly and unprofessional. I could see it in your mouth while you were talking; it was very distracting. Improve your audio. Bad audio is noticed much more than bad video. Wishing you success in the future...
