you said that nuts and fishes should be consume in 1st trimester , !!!! But In first trimester, fishes and nuts should be avoided , because some fishes contain high mercury that's why they would be prohibited and nuts are warm in nature which can cause bleeding and leading to miscarriage in 1st trimester . people usually Don't know that which fish contains how much amount of mercury ,, so simply they would've avoid consuming fishes in 1st trimester .

I am currently planning for my pregnancy and my diet includes a full bowl of quinoa salad in lunch (I just take tea and biscuits for breakfast) and full meal in the evening (rice, chapati, daal and curry). I go out for cycling 20 Kms daily and I was wondering if I can continue my diet during my 1st trimester? I do not have plans to continue cycling but I am planning to switch to walking daily.

Maintain weight in first trimester. Protein main focus. Protein requirement 1gm/kg so take 60-70gm of protein. Protein option: dairy/tofu/egg/chicken/fish/red meat/oats/yogurt/lentils/flax seed/sprouts/milk/fist full of almonds and walnuts/ Protein should be in every meal. Dinner should have more protein and less carbohydrates. More lentils/curd/meat. Add ghee in diet atleast 1 tbsp Add 1 fruit a day.

Mam, Tea can create gastritis and promote nausea if taken regularly...2ndly brown bread is made using baking soda which may increase weight and the same with pea nut butter also bcoz along with protein, it contains trans fat,..3rdly exercise may cause fatigue to the pelvic muscles.... hence it may be stopped. Is there anything that I have written wrong.....?

Eat almonds or any nuts, first thing in the morning. Then add any fruit like banana/kiwi/peach/strawberry to plain yogurt. You can add granola too. some days, you can have cook oats in milk for breakfast or Eat slightly toasted brown bread with homemade jam. If you eat non-veg, you can opt for egg too. Don't eat any spice at all. Make a salad for lunch, add cucumber, tomato, cabbage/iceberg, carrot and squeeze some lemon on it. You can use a little black pepper/salt too. You can add boiled beans/sauteed chicken to it too. Desi food is very tricky because of masala. Dhaniya powder, tumeric, red chillis don't sit well in early preg and can cause nausea. Even the smell is enough, so skip the spices. If you are making daal, do a basic garlic/onion salt and black pepper tarka. Opt for non-spicy version of everything. After your dinner, do drink some milk. Also, sleep on your left side.
