I actually think the smashbox/becca corrector performed better at the end of the day's wear test. The darkness was showing through after a few hours on the Huda side. Thank you for another great wear test video. ❤
I have both of them. Both would crease on me if I didn’t set them well. I can’t say that my darkness under my eyes starts to poke through at any point of the day after using the Huda. I do notice that she uses very little product and I’m not saying that she should have to cake it on but but that could be part of the problem
I’m so glad I came across this video it’s very helpful for me since my favorite color corrector atm is the pixi color corrector in the shade peach and I like it because it transforms my face instantly and also the only con about it is that you can run out of it pretty quickly and it’s 20 dollars for each jar
Peachy or pink colour correctors don't work for everyone with the same skin colour as this pretty lady, they end up making skin more dark and not colour correct at all. After buying the Charlotte Tilbury peach corrector, the smashbox one in a similar colour, makeup revolution in the same colour and Huda beauty in peach, I now know it's not the right colour for my undertone. I recently purchased the yellow corrector by elf and it has changed my life. I wish I branched out sooner and tried other colour correctors even though I have a light olive complexion and most ppl who look like me would need peach toned correctors, for me it was yellow that did the trick.
Im so glad they have a pink shade because even though i have a deeper skin tone so i technically should use orange i have a olive under tone so the orange is always to deep for me and bleed through so i have to use extra just to hide it
they both look great but IMO I could see a bit of pinkyness on the Huda side, maybe it's just me 🤔 also, the Huda corrector doesn't seem as emolient as the Becca one, would you recommend for dry skin ppl?... oh, and e.l.f. just released their new color correctors, I guess they were trying to dupe the Becca one (what's new? 🙄)... anyway, thnx for the review! have a good one! 🤗
Just to share... Many light cool-toned people need a deep pink for color correcting under the eyes. Not peach as much as deep pink & it's very hard to find. I was really interested in that light shade and you kept saying pink so I'm thinking it might be worth a try!! Thanks for sharing 🤍
The Huda one concealed just a wee bit better in my opinion. On the Becca side some darkness was peeking thru. Wanted to know which shade of Huda color correcter you used as we have similar skin tones(I also wonder if the 3rd swatched darker pink one works for you as I have many peach/orange ones already). I have the concealer too (in Graham Cracker & Cookie Dough)but I'm not a big fan as I find it too thick to wear alone on days I don't wanna do foundation.
I really like the Becca corrector but the light shade is too pink to correct for me and the medium shade is too deep for my lighter skin. I can make it work but I need a strong concealer to pair with it. I’m hoping the pink pomelo shade of this one will be light enough but have enough peach in it to still correct for me!
Becca is not hydrating, it's thick, emollient and very luminous, Huda i guess is much thinner but creamy... Personally the Becca one didn't work for me and my puffy, mature under eye but if yours dry but smooth
Thank you for all the reviewes done on colour correcting the under eye area! I have only one request for when you do the day checkins - can you also show if the product is setting in the wrinkles under the eye?
I finally got my hands on it. I'm 53 and pot correctors don't look right on me. Since I started using the Colleen Rothchild illuminating cream, I stopped needing color corrector. I just have to make sure my concealer matches my foundation. Otherwise, it will gray me out. I loved the Huda Faux Filter concealor until Natasha Denona came along and then came Haus Labs. But that Colleen Rothschild illuminating cream with a concealer that has a peach undertone is my go to. Only took me 3 years to figure it out. You have young eyes. My old lady eyes are very different.
I just received mine over the weekend, and I’m loving it so far! I’ve used it with the Huda Beauty concealer as well as with others. I have the shade Papaya. 🧡
Thank you so much for this video. I actually found out that Huda Beauty was releasing a corrector from your previous video. I completely saw the difference between the Huda corrector and the Smashbox/Becca corrector. The Huda corrector definitely corrected the dark circles better in my opinion. I'd love to see you try the mango shade. 😊
That caught my eye! I'm always going back & forth with a brush and sponge. With a brush I get better coverage but doesn't get up close & smooth, meanwhile a sponge takes off a lot. When I saw that puff I immediately thought I have got to try that!! I don't know if I have a puff that flexible but I could start beating one up 😂 I also have that Beauty blender one with 2 different sides... Thanks for adding your experience, it makes me want to try it FOR sure!! 🤍 Ps... On my 50's under eyes! 😉
I have been waiting for this review. Thank you always for your thorough review. I will always check your reviews before purchasing a product: appreciate all your work into it. Can you please review the new ELF putty correctors?
i got the peach. but it was too orange for me. my skin is kinda brown with yellow undertones (filipino) so peach seemed to be the color corrector (i use medium in the smashbox becca). i use the huda sugar bisque concealer. i even used just one dot instead of three but the orange still peeked through. and yet with you i didn’t see any peek through. 😢
@@faria7727 Who am I kidding? I’m probably going to buy both as well. 😂 I was trying to hold it down because I got stuck with the Kulfi in the last VIB sale and that was totally underwhelming. My concealer cemetery is embarrassing.
I honestly just watch your videos and buy the products you mention for colour correcting but I find that I barely have the time to colour correct anymore. I just throw on my bare minerals original concealer and it’s a nice natural look with great coverage. When I want a bit more, I add my mars soft matte on the inner corner of my eyes on top of my bare minerals. Great combo and I have under eyes like you but do not need to colour correct. (And no, there is no grey cast) lol
Thanks Sarah, I love your videos! Been watching a long time. And you actually deal with dark circles, like I do. Tbh, I think the Becca side concealed a bit more. I saw more shadow on the Huda side. I’d like to test them both, since Becca teamed up with Smashbox. I tried it before that, and it was either too light or too dark for me. And I’ll have to try the Huda concealer! Thanks again! 🙂🌷💕
Huda side is very flattering and brighter. Beautiful. U r so correct in that many correctors bleed through the concealer and just looks like an orange concealer. A hot mess under the eyes. Do you use foundation primer under the corrector? Thank you ❤
Trying to stay in my spending budget😂, from correctors you've reviewed which do you recommend the best. I'm stuck between the ole henrikson, huda beauty and natasha denona.
Can you please tell me where you got the triangular sponge to blend out the concealer? Also do you use it wet or dry? Thank you so much for the wonderful tutorial, looking forward to hearing from you:)
Gorgeous, thank you for filming. If you can - I’d love to see this compared to my holy grail corrector, Nars, that I basically use as a no make up makeup concealer.
Thanks for this, so helpful as I need to up my colour corrector game. How do both these products compare to the nars light reflecting corrector? Or Bobbie brown? I'm wondering which out the four is best.
I’m faithful to the OneSize concealor but today i went to sephora and they were out of stock 🥲 the girl recommended this one and i loved it bc it made such a difference 😍😍 and it was out of stock too🥲🤣🤣🤣
