Best Production Design, Oscar Winners (1968-2020)

The Academy Award for Best Production Design was presented for the first time in 1927. It had two subcategories, one for black and white films and one for those in color. In 1968, the Award for Best Production Design, along with the ones for Best Photography and Best Costume Design, were combined into individual categories for all formats.
