I'm using a new wireless lav mic system, let me know if you think it sounds ok. This video is not sponsored by Anker, but if anyone from Anker wants to sponsor me, I'll take it 😂
Have you thought about making a video while one of your videos streams on the nebula in the back? And then maybe a video with that video playing in the back, and then you just keep going, and the audio is turned up, and its like Inception but a van build video? In all seriousness we picked up the same projector, haven't seen it covered too much so this is great. Love your build.
This video came just at the right time I was looking into video projectors for my van, and somehow never came across a mini projector with native HD support and build in speakers... This is perfect 🤩 Thanks a bunch Jason!
It is 15 V DC power supply. Pretty much sure the projector can be charged from the van's onboard battery, savings the energy you loose in needless invertor. Which is a big deal.
Great review! Do you know if I can use the USB port to play a video without having to be connected to a WiFi network? Also, perhaps you know if I can use Airplay to stream directly to the Nebula, also without either device being online. Thanks, man!
I set up projectors alot, if you are going to mount it permanently, its not an issue for not having an auto keystone. but because most projectors are mounted that way , the interface to adjust them is very poor. Nec is just abut the worst . But yea when we did get auto keystones in , it was like saving 15 min a room.
Thank you for the great review. One question is: did you playback personal videos of h264, h265 on it? I'm curious if it'll play everything for me via USB.
Hey - I’m struggling to get this to work offline. I download movies from Amazon prime on to my phone but just get playback errors when I connect via hdmi. I’ve got the lightening adapter and the hdmi cable. Are you using any specific apps for offline viewing? Thanks, great video.
Have you tried the Nebula Capsule 1? I just bought one on Amazon for a special offer of £259 brand new and just noticed they sell a 'new refurbed' Max model for £383 and wonder whether its worth the extra money for the 100 extra lumens and 720 instead of 480p? any feedback would be much appreciated. Great thing about the capsule 1 is you can charge it via a usb portable battery even whilst its playing, also the remote takes aaa batteries.
@@JasonKlunk I ended up getting the capsule 1 and Max to compare them between each other, it would be great if the Max was the same size as the capsule 1 with USB-C charging. Hopefully that would be the next release. I did make a review vid ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wcNb3kvTve8.html
Poplar is strong and doesn't warp as easily as other types of wood. I used poplar in some places and birch in others. Everything was painted with a mold/mildew resistant primer.
Hi, thanks for this really helpful video. I’ve ordered one. One question I have as this is for pure van use, that is without Wi-Fi apart the 4g/5g I may or may not receive on my phone for hot spots. Assuming I have no signal or I just want to download entertainment in advance to my phone from Netflix, Amazon etc, I can see the link for the lightning AV adaptor. But what is the wire from the nebula to the adapter please? Cheers
Sorry, but I don't agree. I have a van and like to be off grid as well..... This capsule max only lasts 2 hours or maybe 1,5hrs on max brightness. And then.... you can't even charge it with a normal micro usb power source or with a car charger!! Plus you have to carry around a non standard extra plug. I find this a huge mistake, the capsule 1 had it, the capsule 2 has it. But that one doesn't have any horizontal keystone correction, which as you mentioned is really important. The Apollo only has 10 degrees.... Without power the Max is quite useless, so I'll go for the capsule 1 or wait till they're smart enough to make one that's really useful on the go.
yes definitely! it comparable with the nebula capsule 2 but this one is 100 dollars cheaper I believe. The capsule 1 vs this one is quite the difference
