Thank you for the encouraging words. After I having weird dating experiences and disappointments, this gives some hope. I had begun looking at men in our community in a negative light especially since I see many of them getting my friends and other people I know pregnant and then leaving them.

Onyi I ended the engagement because everything was rushed and I was 20 at the time and not ready. He met me and we only dated 3 months and he proposed I was afraid of telling him how I truly felt so I went along with it . Knowing I didn’t really love him. But I took responsibility and we had a few slip ups . & I had to pray and ask GOD if it was it and later on he revealed to me that it wasn’t time for me to be engaged and I have to be worked on individually . So ever once December of 2017 I’ve been at peace and happy . My ex fiancé still wants me back but I’m just moving on. And waiting for the right one . No one cheated we just had a lot to grow up with .

I really needed to see this going through a break up bc I decided on celibacy. He walked away, but I shed no tears. I’m more so happy I know now. I can now wait patiently and prepare myself. I don’t usually comment, though I love you and your channel, but I just have to get this off my chwest 😂. Your love translates so authentically to me, even off the screen. There’s no pretence, I can see the love in your eyes, but most of all I see the love in your compromise. Y’all are even a bit dorky and it’s so refreshing to see that!
