After months of practicing and learning the game this is the first meta deck I’ve built. It’s not been too complicated as a newer player to build with and Xyz is definitely my favourite summoning mechanic so I like the way the deck gives each quick-play spell an effect you can stack under your monsters! Thanks for the explainer video, looking forward to playing this in ranked 🙂
A Card alot of people should consider for their Purrely list is Fenrir. Special Fenrir usually forces a Maxx out of the Opponent, and if you use its effect to search another Fenrir, you can use it as a Discard for your Purrely cards
@solemnyugioh It's a risk I'm willing to make 🤭 Board Breaker + Discard Fodder in one card is nice. If we scared of Droll, you can use Memories to Discard the Fenrir 👅
Yeah but i think cross out is definitely needed as it counters many handtraps plus really good in a mirror match as well like completely negating purrely that is usually a soft opt is kinda busted in mirror matches
I just played against a branded player using a list from a tcg player and book of eclipse people that stuff is just *chefs kiss* like they cant do anything other than banish the mirrorjade or banish a random card you might have on board
uhhh a suggestion if i may...... you can play 1 of the field spell.... it didnt matter that much also these might help how to build purrely 101 Main deck core: 3 purrely 3 purrelyly 3 delicious memory 3 sleeping memory 3 pretty memory 3 happy memory 3 my friend purrely 1 Purrelyeap!? staples: 3 ash 3 maxx c 3 Santa claws 2 droll/d.d. crow/veiler 1 red reboot 2 called by/dark ruler/talents/imperm 1 harpie's feather duster (or 0 if you're that confident/only 40 cards focused) techs: either you do the dark world engine ** 2 snow, 2 brow 1 grapha(sometimes 0 grapha) pure (which i dont recommend till mini noir and/or triple tactic thrust comes) ** You will run 2 pot of desires in this build 3 rainbow bridge + 1 cobalt eagle engine (which i do now) extra deck core 2 expurrely noir 1 expurrely happiness 2 epurrely plump 2 epurrely beauty 1 epurrely happiness staples you can choose to run: sylvan princessprite kikinagashi fucho lyrilusc - assembled nightingale downerd magician zeus dharc link 2 anima azalea linkuriboh i:P mascarena
Currently playing purr fur hire it's got quite the nice end board but the lack of hand traps hurts a bit only got 7-10 free deck spots. End board often has fur hire side- (1 card destroy, 1 monster negate, 3 card draw and 1 excavation on their turn 1 on yours) purr side often has 2-4 card draw up to 6 I'm told, around 4 shuffle backs, the field spell, continuous spell and if the hand was good 1 monster negation and the trap. drawing 5 - 11 cards gives good odds on landing 1 of the few hand traps if all goes well for more negations.
Bro that sounds crazy. Adding extra draws on top of the Purrely draws is just nuts. I could see building it with a potential small going second engine like a kaiju or two so if you do have your board outed(which isn't going to be often) then you can out their biggest problem monster(maybe a omni) and go in with your follow up.
@@BuddhaMelffyQueen Ya i may add a kaiju or 2. my going second is rather bad atm it's that or evenly / dark ruler no more. atm just running 3 ash, 2 call by for maxx c and 2 imperm still experimenting. thanks for the tip.
i like playing purrely and melffy in combination cause if u get an expurrely noir in combination with a happy melffies u just won because ur Board pretty much cant be cleared
Do I have a chance of making this deck with 7k gems and 120 UR materials? (I have veiler, the ashes, called by and zeus....so those UR materials will probably go into triple tactics)
Depends on luck too. I only spent 4k gems and pulled all the cores except 3 sleepy memories, which I crafted. I already have the rest of the UR staples except for Reliquinshed Anima. So I spent 4k gems and 120 UR dust total for this insane beast of a deck 😁
is anyone else having a major issue playing this deck under the normal time limit I cant do my combos effectively as im constantly counting down the timer activating so many effects on my opponents turn
Konami were dumb for reducing the ranked timer. That was one of the things I praised them for over legacy of the duelist, but they decided to lower it even I dont think anyone had a problem with it. They expect you to know ever match up and interaction perfectly and be able to react to it swiftly. It doesn’t seem to dawn on them that not everybody is a speed reading god
no way kash without arise heart. But with ariseheart, I think it's going to be tier 0, no way it's going to be equal to resque ace or purrely. Although I doubt konami will let that happen, unicorn or ariseheart will be limited for sure
Played against it first time an hour ago, have zero idea what they're doing yet they end up with this tower with 7000 def unaffected. Won't even wait for my Gamaciel to arrive, just hit the surrender button.
The use you gave for Leap is very... bad, because if you do that you lose your monster and don't even get stray and friend effect because it's a "return to deck" effect. I played this deck for a while outside of master duel and i can tell you that the better strategy is to have 3 in the deck, always have one in the gy for the gy effect, and the other effect instead should be done targetting a rank 7 monster to send it to a rank 2 during your own phase in case you need to use the rank 2 effects like happines search, plump material attach, or (when it will get added) noir to remove not just one card, but 2 without losing attached material that is essential for delicious effect, and then summon back a rank 7 before your turn ends so that it doesn't get sent to the extra deck. For the extra deck, i don't see why removing expurrely happiness, it's very good if you can simply attack and keep giving 1500 damage to the opponent for every attack you do, and usually with happyness you'll have 2/3 attacks on avarage so that's more than half of their health in a single attack. without even counting the damage from the actual attack on top of that.
Probably not sadly. Maxx doesn't hurt Purrely to much though if you just summon Lyly(since its quick play it avoids Maxx C) then Plump first turn which isn't ideal but it works.
The only out to purrely at this moment is labrynth especially if go 2nd purrely. Labrynth player must be pro pilot deck correctly and get D barrier. D barrier is the only out purrely. Other tech card such simul archfiend and spellbound can also stop purrely combo as all this can stop purrely from XYZ summon. Later on Rescue-ACE avialable next mth, get full set together with desavewurm, then Purrely player need to worry the negation Rescue-ACE is a lot especially trap card contain! With hydrant on the field which is game over as if resolved Purrely or Purelyly not only effect negated, your not allow to used that monster for XYZ summon, cause all purrely quick spell card offline. For now, practice your labrynth deck properly and play correctly so can f@#k up purrely player. By the way if your like blind go 2nd, don forget to get Kaiju and kaiju them to do OTK.
Labrynth can definitely play against Purrely but I think it's presumptuous to say that D-Barrier is the "only out" to Purrely. Even within Labrynth, there are plenty of outs to the Purrely cards - any form of targetted removal will blank their Rank-Up effects, a tech which has been abused in the TCG with Book of Moon, and Labrynth has that in spades with the field spell + Welcome, or Compulse, or Terrors of the Overroot if you like that card. As a bonus it doesn't lose to kaijus. But that doesn't say much about the other decks of the meta: Dragon Link has the potential to power through the Purrely endboard, get some removal, and then kill or at least end on Borrelend Dragon - vs the Going 2nd variant, they're highly reliant on Purrely not drawing Kaijus but Borrelend will still stop the Epurrely effects and Memory Influences from going off. Branded has a generally positive match-up against Purrely. And even if you don't play one of those decks, you can play kaijus to remove the Noir without problem. Overall Purrely's an extremely fair deck that doesn't do anything particularly unfair - I personally find it to be very skill-expressive and fun to play, and I think saying that a floodgate is "the only out to Purrely at this moment" isn't really a fair analysis of the metagame or the strength of Purrely as a deck.
Dragon link doesn’t have an out to noir, nor can it play through multiple quick-effect spins of cards on their field or their gy. Dlink also isn’t the best at stopping the zeus lines the deck can do - especially if the Purrely field spell is on board to stop a pop with beast. It’s not a good matchup for dlink at all.
I'm new to Purrely. I played against Dragonlink earlier with the deck. When I didn't prematurely activate Noir to bounce the Dragonlink player "disconnected"/scooped. No friend Dragonlink gets owned by Purrely and I suck at yugioh lol.
Ok so I've had Maxx C dropped on me today while playing the deck(of course they dropped it in standby before I activated anything) The spells are quick play so like Runick you can avoid one draw for your opponent. It's not the best end board(you usually want to bring out the sylvan monster to get an extra card which requires like 3 more special summons) but you pass on Plump giving your opponent one draw(or two if they Maxx you AFTER activating a quick play) If lucky you can fill up Plump to 4 underneath it so your Noir is unaffected. You'll give your opponent some draws sadly but.. Basically just special out Purelyly make Plump and try to get 2 more material on Plump which shouldn't be too difficult unless your hand is downright awful.
@@CrisisCore62 Thats no freaking lie. I started playing Floo too because of Maxx C lol. I gained a love for it tho tbh it's fun the artwork is fantastic to look at and it's not as easy to pilot as people claim.
One could argue crossout is a must in every deck, but purrely can have trouble actually trading cards like cbtg and crossout with ht’s cuz those are cards u may have needed to discard, and are awful to draw into off sleepy… We’re also not in a book format like in tcg, so it’s not like we constantly need crossout to respond to books on yeap…
It's not as effective as setting up a towers potentially drawing 6 cards and having a multiple bounce per turn. It is ok if you're going second but doesn't get the knockout unless you open cracked.
Yo, is it just me, or is the Master Duel tax season getting pricey. I’m not a whale but, I usually use the sales, then grind like a son bitch. But… these last two tax seasons had me uncle Konami knockin’ at my door for UR dust. Am I the only one feeling it?
you are not alone. They have been stacking all recent packs with a lot of completly useless UR's. For example, if you think about it, the Kashtira pack only has 5 good UR's, the other 8 are complete garbage unless you specifically want to play the rogue deck they belong to. the more worthless cards are in UR slots, the less good cards you actually pull, the more you have to craft, the less dust you have at your disposal.
@@Razoronmd Yes, that's why i wrote that comment. Branded and Tear are the only ones that come to mind as being significantly more expensive. Dragon Link for example quite a bit cheaper. Let's ask Master Duel Meta averages about Deck-specific UR (excluding staples, you need them anyways, even for purrely): D-Link: 1x Ravine, 2x Lubellion (arguably a staple, but I don't want to argue) 1x Levi, 1x Borrelend, 1x Borreload, 1x Hot Red, 1x Chaos Ruler (tho thats a staple too, if you ask me) =5-8 depending on who you ask Metal Dragon and Seals can both be obtained from a single starter deck purchase, so you can't really count them. The Purrely List in this video has 9 URs that cannot be used in any other relevant Deck (8 Purrely and 1 Anima). So yeah, very average price.
Expurrley noir can deal with most of the cards you listed by spinning them off the field as a quick effect. Also i think you were talking about plasma, not dogma
As a hardcore tear fan and player I’d say yes. You can technically hold onto them but until some other cards come out months from now it’ll just feel bad. By the time those cards drop you can always remake them but that’s just what I decided. I didn’t and still don’t like it because I love tear but it is what it is. Again just my personal opinion.
