Best QOL update in POE History - Currency Exchange Market 

bro, this is even more incredible than you led it on to be. That's how incredible this is. This is monumental. This is years of frustration cured in one update.

It would be nice to see a video from you, analyzing what is happening in the Exchante Market when w1 or w2 have been passed. Especially comparing with past leagues

most importantly thanks to those people who were AFK when mark went out to trade, without them this would not have happened. they are the real unsung heroes here.

Auto-trade for stackable items. 5 words is all you need to explain it. This news was momentous enough for the wooden chair of truth though. Not sure why you used the gaming chair. :)

Big change for trade leaguers, what about the humble SSFer? Are there NPC/bot auctions?

My currency flipping most likely dead now, however I do hope they keep the farming bots in check cause this has a good chance to empower them to trade faster.

Fantastic, I literally haven't been back in years because of the absolute burden of dealing with currency, there is just soooooo much random crap with value any level of mapping makes it a total slog to deal with. Keeping it liquid helps everyone, crafters can easily get what they need, mappers are focused on what they enjoy. Being able to focus on one or the other with virtually no barriers is exactly what we all need and the game is infinitely better for it. Kudos GGG! I know why you have held to the vision but I am glad you adapt to the current market.

Fuck off to all the people that not only said this wont happen, but that it should not happen. It has ALWAYS been a shitshow to have currency trade outside of the game. Its simply BAD DESIGN to have trade outside the game your playing at all. People saying ohh tabbing out is easy. thats not the fucking point. The fact we have a market for ingame currency trade is amazing too becuse thats always been a fucking unenjoyable pain that stop a lot of people from playing longer. gear trading was never a major issue so its fine for now. this is amazing.

Mark clearly has a more modern vision for the game. We can thank competition from games like Last Epoch as well.

This is obviously a test run for what they are already planning and already essentially announced for path of exile 2 I really don't think it's that much of a surprise. A welcome addition but I think it was on several bingo cards. I also think Chris's comments were specifically maybe not explicitly but specifically targeted at items. We have to remember at the time of writing this crafting items was quite different than the systems we have currently and required a lot of currency to get something even somewhat decent. Today anyone with a little time spent in the game can take an essence and with a little luck have an item that in the past would have been considered very very good.

does the buyer have to buy exact amount or just the ratio will be considered. i mean your sell order can it be bought by multiple ppl or i have to place a ratio that is easier for ppl to buy. can i just use premium stash tabs to set ratio once and forget about it? I guess since you use gold you have to place every order manually.

Damn it looks great ! Currency trading always bored me to death. Maybe I'll roll a character on this league to check it out ! Indeed trading is the most point of friction of the game, for me. Partly fixed, now !

Chris is brilliant in many ways, but his reverence for Diablo II kept him from innovating where it truly mattered. More power to Jonathan and Mark seems like they can finally strong arm the team to catch up with creating the best ARPG for the future... rather than trying to mimic the best ARPG from the year 2000.

What do you mean, put all currency in the trade window ?! I have been clicking my stacks of fusing one by one like a peasant for the last five leagues !!! :( And I thought those filling the trade window instantly (like 5% of players) were breaking ToS !

I have over 4k hours in this game and I have never once been able to recommnd it to a new player due to how annoyingly difficult and time consuming it is to get into. This update might change that, even if just by a little.
