Sure, everything breaks. You are 100% correct in that regard. However Traxxas is NOT a Good company, especially morally! If you care about where your American dollar goes, you really should look into how they treat their employees, how many lawyers they have vs their innovative teams, and look at their actual business practices. For us, if morals mean something to you, I just can’t stand to give that company any of our money. ❤️✝️🇺🇸💯⚓️
@chasinelwood1977 kinda reaching 🤣 sure they make some stuff that's a bit odd but just about every brand has a model or two that's trash, overpriced etc but traxxas has a handful of things that I'd say are solid
@@spoolyboi9434I know they do have a few solid products to offer. I just haven't had real good luck to Traxxas. At all. It seems, at times, they intentionally designed parts to fail. Understand that may be the case in some situations where you are trying to prevent damage to more expensive parts by having the cheaper parts fail first. Anyhow,, ECX used to be my go to RC car company until horizon bought them out. Now I'm like LONG LIVE ARRMA.
@chasinelwood1977 the TRX4, the 2wd stampede or rustler, the summit, the Xmaxx, all great in my experience, e revo 2.0 is nice after a couple of upgrades, and just about anything nitro is good even though nitro isn't as popular these days as it used to be
These are a deal if you replace the diff outdrives with metal ones. The plastic ones strip out after a run or two and replacements are always out of stock. The plastic ones are basically a consumable. The rest of the parts are acceptable for the price. For $125ish with metal diffs these are still a good deal and great for carefree bashing.
@Peter Mcneeley I used a generic of the AR310432 for the Kraton and other models sold as "Harden Steel Input Shaft Cup". The OEM part should be the same and is usually cheaper when in stock. Keep in mind this just moves forces down the line and eventually more expensive parts wear out or break, but those parts are better designed and last longer so it should save money in the long run.
Bought one of these last Christmas and scored it for 59.99! I’ve ran several packs through it and bashed it pretty good! Only thing that’s broke so far is the motor leads which wasn’t bad to fix
@@calephillips-pu4kq yeah, traxxas doesn't care about the hobby at all. They go out of their way to make sure you can only buy hop up parts from them. And yeah, most of their stuff is junk anyway. I'll never give traxxas a dime
Dude really said " it's better than Traxxas" LMFAO 🤣🤣🤣🤣!!! BRO! C'mon! There's many other ways to market new products that no one ever heard of. Shitting all over well known, well established companies that can crush you like a bug isn't one of them. Just saying
That is NOT better than traxxas. I know it might be better bang for the buck but it’s definitely better to just save a little more money and get something worth while.
ITS NAME IS LITERALLY TOM TRAXXAS GOT SLASH, BANDIT,LIKE REALLY THEY EVEN GOT THE PERMISSION TO USE CHEVYYS,FORDS,LANDROVERS BRONCOS, THERE IS NO WAY THAT RC CAR IS GETTING THE PERMISSION TO USE A FORD
@@PrajwalCanonShutter it’s a British company, SOLD THEIR products in the u.s, but this guy is trying to say the company is from america, which is not true, its a British company (UK)
Finally, someone who agrees. Price-wise, it’s better (the Stampede without a battery is $70 more), but quality-wise, I’m never gonna trust Arrma again after the horror show of working on my friend’s Outcast, and the fact that his Outcast’s radio system failed less than 2 weeks after he got it.
Better to just spend 40 more and get the arrma gorgon. Pretty much version 2.0 of this truck and improved on all of the 1.0 granite voltage trucks weak points.
Meh it's all preference really. I have many Arrma and many Traxxas products. My Arrma's hold up way better, break less often and parts are widely available unlike traxxas that only has a few distributors. To flat out say "it's better than traxxas" is a bold statement but I'm sure he just said that to get the comment section all in an uproar cause it promotes the channel better. I personally like Arrma better.
@@abingham3747 me too arrmas all day everyday but to say Traxxas parts are hard to get , easier get others I never heard that before . If it weren't for jennys or ebay I'd probably have more Traxxas, I want xrt but it take 1500 to perform as well as 399 fireteam but Traxxas is more convenient better for guys who aren't extreme basher, a setup arrma is hard to beat in performance
Well yes it's a nice small scale rc car you can take almost anywhere with you but traxxas has been the top pick for every rc starter or more skilled drives for Xmaxx there 100 MPH rc car but traxxas is more reliable brand
OK if it's better than traxas how about armor I will not absolutely start a company since you forgot and everybody Sait's a logical amazing forgotten that I'm going to say you're saying it's worse than 3
It is absolutely best in its price point. Value is always relevant 👍 And almost everything is better than that company of which shall not be named 😬😂😉⚓️
@TheRcSaylors at the price point I agree but as far as a beginner RC not a fan, you get what you pay for and there are better options we live in the era of brushless at least get an arrma 3s model
Bought two for Christmas gifts, both had leaking shocks right out of the box. Better than Traxxas? Horizon giving you things to review on your channel?
He is right, this thing is badass. There are a couple of weak spots, but for under 100 bucks, you get a 2s out of the box ready 10th scale monster truck.
It is pretty good. We've (my 2 sons and I) had 1 for a few years front shocks fell apart 1st run, hacked in some old taymias' .... Great little truck. Got it's limitations
@@Onlinechatbuddy495And I’ve found it to be like glass compared to Traxxas. My friend took a 1 foot jump onto concrete and his Outcast 4S’ rear bearing carrier exploded. My Hoss has never broken one of those in 6 months of torture
that's why it cheaper then Traxxas on this station we like everything but until you compare you cant say its better cause its not I have both and my Traxxas kicks its butt
Id rather spend $1000 and have one that does 60mph+ and does flips and can hit a tree at high speeds and not break...yea the XMaxx or Maxx Slash or Raptor R or Maxx is my go to for cheap RC cars
