There's a lot of speculation out there that Logan's departure had nothing to do with COVID. I'm not sure which theory is right, but wouldn't the entire group have to quarantine since they were exposed to him? How in the world would they allow the guys to go home to their families next week?
Yeah, the COVID excuse makes no sense. Either they all should be quarantined and production shut down, or since they were all together, just carry on with the bubble cocktail party. Not trusting anything from TPTB, as per ush.
Inquiring minds want to know! Jesse didn’t even tell the dudes that Logan had Covid. I think the Bach paid Logan extra $$ to create the Rachel to Gabby switch drama, but then he really just wanted to leave so they made up the Covid story.
Patrick Warburton is Zach's uncle. I had to rewind that clip to be sure it was him. Patrick does a lot of voice work. He's on Family Guy, Venture Brothers, Space Force. Lots of stuff. Is it sad to say I'm looking forward to seeing a clip of Patrick Warburton next episode? I think this session is running fast due to the lack of DRAMA the producers normally give. Hope to see Mama Shay next week.
The main issue with Nate was that he was dating 2 girls at the same time. They both provided screen shots and proof. The reason they found out about each other was because Nate's friend (who he also supposedly slept with) told one of the girls about the other. So it's a bit messy and doesn't really look good on him. I personally don't know how to feel about the situation since he looked like a really good guy in the show.
I guess we need a lot more context around this. I think if you're dating more than 1 person, both/all should know (not names, just the fact that you're dating and not exclusive.) I also think that it should be noted near the beginning of said dating, that you do say you have kid(s). The idea of dating is solely to have a good time OR search for someone to 'go steady' with (lol, what an old saying). I wouldnt want to date for 6 months or 1.5yrs (like 1 of the girls) and then find out you have a kid, what if I dont want to attempt to be a step parent, that'd be a waste of all our time. That's a red flag as well. Like, what else that's important are you not saying? In no means, do I think that kids should meet ppl you date. I have 2 kids. Only if I'm serious about a guy has my daughter met anyone. Which luckily, only happened to be my sons dad whom I'm still with. I liked Nate on the show. I want to like Nate post show. I hope we can like him... lol
@@9babyblu The biggest question is did they communicate about the bounds of their exclusivity? Even though it’s up to both parties in the situation to bring it up, it shows what he defaults to when not given boundaries.
I like how 6 weeks in we all forget the guys name and the Bachelorettes lol. You two kill me. Looking forward to next week with Mama Shea hopefully the drama isn't too terrible with these home towns coming up. See yall next week
After Gabby sent Nate home I kind of wish she would of had conversations with the other guys regarding kids, like does she wants kids do they etc. Because thats extremely important going to an engagement
They never seem to broach those topics on a larger scale, do they? Questions about where they're going to be living full-time, whether they want kids and in what timeframe, whose job is time-demanding or a dealbreaker, etc. Some of that gets mentioned on 1-on-1s, but rarely with the whole group. And it really should be. I feel like 85% of time when these things inevitably end in a breakup, it's due to those types of issues.
I'm hoping, albeit it without much true hope, that these concerns, issues and deal breakers are discussed in snippets of one on one time, without being shown during an episode. My concern about talking about it in a group (which, early on, would be large) would be taken by some men as an opportunity to learn exactly what she wants to hear so they can parrot it back to her sooner or later. Those men who aren't there for the right reasons would take this information & run with it.

Love this, you two are great! The funniest thing to me in this episode is when Rachel and her guy are in the hot tub in the tulip field and the drone zooms out and you can see like a hundred people at the end of the road waiting.

The ex had photos and screenshots of conversations of their relationship with a timeline… it’s hard to tell 100% what happens between any two people, but this does not look good for nate. They were going on multiple vacations together, cute kissy pics. Doesn’t look too good
Isnt it weird that she has txts, to make a timeline, that date back to the beginning? (This is the 1.5yr lady, correct?) Also, wouldnt she notice if she wasnt ever invited to his place but go on vacations, that would be a red flag? Or if she was invited to his place that his daughters bedroom was never noticed? Or any sign of a little girl who visits her dad often, laying about his place, at all? Idk, I liked Nate in the show. I hope we can like post show. Hopefully he shares his side and gives us more context.
I dated a guy on and off for 2 years and we went on multiple vacations. We took lots of kissy photos. We were not serious. When you are young, going on vacations and taking lots of pictures doesn’t indicate any level of seriousness. Plus Nate was going through a divorce at the time so it’s very unlikely he’s looking for a serious and exclusive relationship. My mum certainly wasn’t after her divorce. She took about 4 or 5 years to even be interested in a serious relationship. Plus in going through a divorce and trying to work out custody arrangements, he’s not going to want to piss off his ex by having a serious relationship or mentioning her daughter to dating partners.
He told both girls he loved them, and they were the one for him at the same time. It is one thing not to introduce your child to who you are dating, but he chose not to mention it for 18 months. I think this is a RED flag. I think he had true feelings for Gabby, but I think you may be a little biased. If he were dating my daughter I might be a little concerned.
I'm surprised how much people are defending him. I liked him at first too. But the evidence is strong. He was dating two women at the same time, proven by photos and screenshots, he lead them both to believe they were the only ones and that he loved them. Meanwhile, he was going through a divorce that he never disclosed, and never mentioned his daughter to the girls. Regardless of how you want to feel about him this is an extreme red flag. The girls only found out about each other because his own friend decided to help them figure it out.... NOT a good a look, Nate is in the wrong, and I would never want to date a guy like that. Gabby dodged a bullet.
Love your show! It’s even better than The Bachelorette. I agree, if someone in the group has Covid, Jessie should’ve immediately told the men for their safety. I think the reasons why we feel like we don’t know some of these guys very much is because there were 2 bachelorettes, so the initial connections & “relationships” seemed watered down a bit because everyone was thrown into one group. When it was announced there would be 2 bachelorettes I thought they meant one after another, not at the same time. I hope they never do this idea again because I don’t think it worked at all. And I think some of the date ideas were boring. I’m not really enjoying the season very much, but of course I’ll still watch until the end. Thanks for the laughs. 🌸

I find both groups of guys very mature and dare I say humble? It was very nice to watch yesterday’s episode especially after Nate left, they had nothing but good things to say about him. And when they were told that something happened with Logan they responded with “can you tell us if he’s okay” breath of fresh air compared to certain contestants from different seasons. Also I have trypophobia so that wall kills me every time 😭
Gabby&Rachel's cast this 2022season is so much better than what Michelle & Katie got last year. Katie's cast was Brutal and Michelle's was a bit better, but not by much. Michelle's final3 dudes were basically the same, like triplets (same hair cuts, lol).

What if one of the final 2 got Covid in the final week(s)? I can't imagine they'd just be GONE right? I understand it's different since he's not final 2, but I think he still could've said good-bye from 6+ feet away?? I mean they were all just exposed to each other just a few hours earlier anyway... And the same with the night portion of the date, why couldn't Gabby have still seen the guys, they literally just saw each other a few hours earlier. Did they wait 5 days for the rose ceremony or was the next night?? I don't see the difference. And thank you for talking about all of that, I didn't like how they did it and how Jesse didn't tell the guys. Very strange.

I can’t imagine that the Bachelor production couldn’t pull that off… so yeah, that’s kinda my point, if they wanted him to be there and say good byes, then they could make it happen…. I don't think many people. are faulting Nate for not introducing women to his daughter. But he apparently dated one for a year and a half, overlapping both his marriage and someone else he was dating, gave her the impression that he was serious, yet never mentioned he had a daughter.

He was going through a divorce, working out custody arrangements. He doesn’t want to piss off his ex. So if they agree they won’t mention their kid to dating partners, then honouring that commitment so that the custody arrangements can go smoothly, that’s way more important than not pissing off the girls you are dating. So no, it’s not a red flag. If you’re looking for a serious relationship, you want someone who puts their kids first and protects them. That’s only a red flag for someone who finds integrity and family values to be a red flag.
@@DC-sh7ud If I found myself single again I would not reveal my kids at all. There are too many creeps out there. If people find that a red flag I am glad they do, because if they can’t understand that my kids’ safety comes before my dating life, that’s a red flag for me.
I love your recaps and look forward to them each week. It seems like Gabby & Rachel's season was at warp speed. 6 episodes and we're at hometowns?? My thoughts on Logan are that he had a plan from the beginning. He wanted to test the waters with both of the women. Rachel offered him a rose first, so he took it. Now he likes Gabby more. But if Gabby had offered him a rose first, he would have taken it and later would want to pursue Rachel too. He's just lucky that Gabby have him another chance (or the producers orches-trated the switcheroo). I really thought she might not out of respect for Rachel, but she was initially into him too. Now he has COVID. Gabby hanging out only 3 roses led me to believe she might have been holding out for Logan to come back and give him the 4th rose, but I guess that won't happen. I'm glad to be rid of him. Reality Steve has proof from 2 women, pictures and texts from both showing Nate was double dipping with them AND another lady friend of Nates as well. He's a busy boy, and still finds time for his daughter? Wow, just goes to show that people can make you think that they are the nicest, most caring man, and loves his child more than anything, while the whole time he's lying through his teeth! So glad Gabby sent him home already! (Sorry this is so long)
I always enjoy your quirky sense of humor and snarky commentary, so I love your recaps. Just wanted to say though - I think it’s saddening that we have to step back and pretend like we aren’t smart enough to see that Nate is obviously not what he represented the show or that we women should have to accept actions that clearly disrespect women. Whether they had committed to exclusive or not, he lied by omission by not telling the one girl for a year and half that he had a child or that he was currently still married and in process of divorcing, while simultaneously telling her he loved her and meeting member of her family as well as introducing her to members of his family, like his twin brother. One of text messages from him shows him noting “when they got serious”…. Does that not mean “exclusive”? He also told the other woman he loved her as well. And to think if he’d just omitted that child detail from Gabby and she fell in love with him - only to find out he had a child and she wasn’t ready for that. He apparently treats women he judges to be “worthy” quite differently or how she suits his lifestyle he’s wishing to pursue, as well as his daughter. He most certainly is NOT someone we should try to defend.

I hope Nate grew from the experience and at least tells women he has a child earlier in a relationship so they can decide if they want to be involved with him. Also, the communication should be better, whether they're seriously dating, monogamous or not, because to me, if I love you is said, it's clearly serious. I really liked him and feel bad for Gabby because I don't know who her serious guy is now. Covid for that age range and if he doesn't have other high risk factors should be he quarantines and then they decide what to do with the rest of his time there, but Gabby said she wouldn't have kept him anyway. But I don't understand the guys not being told (at least on camera). They were staying in close quarters with him...but I feel like they're only taking Logan's case seriously? Weird. Gotta keep making that money! *Major eye roll. I hope both ladies find true, lasting love, because this has been hard to watch, even just the recaps.
How is it in every video you both always look on point with your hair and makeup? I gotta say it was refreshing to watch this episode and see Rachel finally happy and confident! This season has been pretty brutal to her, but then she should have just focused on the men who were definitely there for her. So Zach was her first one on one and they seem to have a pretty strong connection. I think it will honestly be between Zach and Tino, although Tyler has been great to her, the others I don't really see anything more than a physical connection with Aven, I just don't see as deep of a connection, I'm sorry. Ethan's going home because he really hasn't spent that much time with either women the entire show, and even if he is here for Rachel, there were other guys that just seem to stand out more. I do like Tyler, and I think Tino is going to make it to the end, but I don't think he's it, there's something just off like he's trying too hard to be perfect and then the fantasy suite preview... but we'll see. I like Gabby more as Bachelorette, but none of her guys really stood out to me other than Nate, partly because Rachel's drama has been taking over most of the season, sorry had to say it, but the guys who are left she seems to have good connections with. Spenser though was kind of just there like Ethan, didn't really see much of a connection there. Fair assessment on Nate, we only get the women's side of the story but not Nate's or how he actually felt about both ladies. It's also possible that maybe he did lead these women on unintentionally, but saw them at face value. I felt sad when she sent Nate home, but I think it was fair to let him go if she wasn't prepared to be a stepmom. That's huge and it takes a special person to willingly take that role because of all it entails, so it takes a lot of maturity and self awareness on Gabby's part to step back, not to mention selfless because I did see a connection between them and I think if being a mom wasn't a factor, she could have stayed with him to the end, but she's not ready and she wants this child to have a mom who is 100% ready and committed. I loved Rachel's date, it was so cute, romantic and I think Zach would be perfect for her out of the others. They keep bringing up therapy throughout the show, Gabby especially and I think it's great and helpful but at some point I wonder if I'm watching a Better Help commercial. So I've watched previews where Logan is asked to leave and I was really hoping it was some sort of crazy drama like he actually has a girlfriend back home that nobody knew about and is brought to life, but no...it's f--king COVID! I'm seriously so sick of this damn disease! Just get eradicated already!!! so all that build up for potential drama only for it to be bloody annoying stupid COVID. But honestly, he was probably not going to go to hometowns anyway.

They were all tested and were negative. This was last spring, and in Amsterdam, no one wore masks. We don't know their protocol at that time or on a private ship
Totally agree. I completely disagreed with Whit & Ry's opinions and statements regarding Nate (and his lying, cheating, two-timing), and regarding Gabby being a "mother". The child has a mother. Gabby would be a part time STEP-mother, at most.🙄
A year is not that long🤣 y'all act like he was engaged or married. Dating ain't that deep, he was obviously not serious enough to even want to mention his private life. Ppl can date without being all up in seriousness, having fun distractions. The girl is bitter and jealous that Nate was looking for a Wife and Mother for his child, yet it was not her but she wanted to be. He treated her different compared to Gabby because he did not find her worthy as a Mom. He's not obligated to tell the girl he shallow dated for fun about his precious child. She was obviously not the standard of woman he wanted to introduce. I'm sure it's that simple for him.. so y'all can't decide the rules here because everyone is different and there is no label of serious obligation attached to dating.
