Tried and Tested by gawa's kitchen
Ingredients
2 cups Cake flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
2 cups sugar
1 cup oil
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
2 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 bottle Moirs crimpson pink food colour
1/2 cup hot plain black coffee (don't skip)
1 teaspoon white vinegar
bake 180 degrees
I used oven tray and baked for 12 minutes
cup cakes 18-20 minutes
big cakes using 2 round pans
bake for- 30-40 minutes
All ovens vary in heat so please check
if a toothpick inserted comes out clean Cake should be done
do not over bake your cake it will continue to bake while cooling in pan
Ps - Always use measuring cups and spoons
measure flour correctly
cream cheese frosting
115g-125g butter
1 tub medium or full fat smooth cream cheese
3-4 cups icing sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
lemons juice to taste
