completely agree with you. Samsung should stick to their phones and televisions. We have had the repair tech for our fridge to our house 5 times and they have replaced everything internally and the ICE maker twice. Recently the freezer went out. DO NOT buy a Samsung fridge
⭐️⭐️ I have that Samsung 4 door fridge. Bought it 3 years ago. For the past 3 weeks I’ve been fridgeless because the compressor stopped functioning. Had to throw away hundreds of dollars worth of food. They came a few days ago to repair it and replace the compressor. The next day, it stopped working again. Literally just talked them 2 mins ago about setting up another appointment…a week from today. The fridge cost over $3000 brand new. Didn’t even last 3 years. Right now, I’m debating if I even want to deal with this anymore and write it off as an expensive loss and go back to buying American. This is absolutely ridiculous. I’ve been eating out a lot for 3 weeks because I can’t keep food in the fridge. People warned me about buying Samsung. I thought, can’t be that bad. It’s THAT bad. Please, do not buy Samsung nor LG. Don’t be like me. Believe all those negative reviews because there’s one truth to them.
LG refrigerator compressor 10 yr warranty died before 10 years cost $630 to fix and it last 2 more years. They only cover for part not labor is about $645
Depends on which model and where it was manufactured. The ones assembled in South Korea or Germany should be better than the ones assembled in China or India. The ones without ice in the door should have fewer repairs than the ones with. Every brand has variations. I'm about to replace a Whirlpool that's been a headache the few years I've had it. Every part that could be replaced has been.
Samsung refrigerators are absolutely junk. Mine just went out. They replaced the compressor yesterday and it's out again. I will never buy their product for appliances

Please show me evidence that says most consumers who purchased LG refrigerators would buy another. They have compressor issues dating back to 2010, whereby their linear inverter compressors were failing inside of three years, then the replacement compressors were failing within the first year, prompting a class action lawsuit that closed in 2020.
Is there ANY appliance manufacturer that produces and excellent, reliable, attractive appliance WITHOUT all the WiFi BS?! S I do NOT need or ever want to send text messages to my bath towels and bed sheets; nor do I want to upload inside footage of my icemaker at work to TikTok. The WiFi mania is out of control. Manufacturers need to go back to basics and STOP their obsession with apps for stoves, dishwashers, refrigerators, and dryers. SPEED QUEEN is the uncontested #1 for washers and dryers? WHY can't there be an induction range without the friggin apps? Many of us just want good appliances that work when they should without the silly apps and WiFi BS.
My LG is 17 years old with muilt cooling sys and French doors and lower freezer with door ice maker and still going strong. its all i will buy. LG IS THE BEST
I thought this was a serious review and comparison. But Samsung and LG rated 1 and 2 no one in there right mind would ever purchase either of those junk appliances.
Bought one in 2018. Lots of problems with the ice maker from the start. I've spent all afternoon trying to find out how to replace the freakin' light bulb unit that just went out. I gave up. Doing some research but I guess all appliances come with planned obsolescence now.
LG and SAMSUNG are the WORST refrigerators you can buy because they all have multiple parts break within 1-2 years. The parts are very expensive to replace and very few people will repair them. Even with a warranty, you often end up having to have someone come from hours away to fix them, unless you live in a major city.
