Matt, this is such a comprehensive overview of some of the staples and "new-to-the scene" eateries! Now, I guess it's time to talk about Raleigh's fitness options!
Second Empire Restaurant and Tavern, great for special occasions, reservations strongly recommended well in advance or go to the bar, first come first serve.
My favorite go-to super casual spot is the original Neomonde on Beryl road for super fresh Mediterranean and Middle Eastern fare. I also love Five Star for the their crispy sesame beef and crispy green beans!
I tried Neomonde a few weeks ago -- what a (very hidden!) gem! Five Star has been on my list since we first moved here, but I still haven't been. I'm pushing it back up to the top - thank you!
I miss humble pie terribly. Good list-- spot on for those folks in the know. I also like Berkeley Cafe for late-ish night eats (or pre-concert nibs) that are always solid, and City Market Sushi.
J Betski's, easily. Many Indian/Nepali restaurants in the area share an owner. Morrisville is an exception -- try Nazara, or seek out south Indian vegetarian for something new.
@@Exlee-dq9uo I learned that thru researching and writing these videos, but I’ve said “restauranteur” my whole life, so it still rolled off my tongue that way. Will work on the pronunciation going forward.
@@MovetoRaleigh As a Raleigh resident I should have said I enjoyed your restaurant list first! I wasn't trying to be priggish, just an FYI! Anyhow have a great day and stay cool it's supposed to be near 100 again!
@@Exlee-dq9uo oh I didn’t take it that way (I also just learned a new word: priggish!) I appreciate you watching and am always looking to learn 😀 Stay cool as well. This summer has been a DOOZY!
